I watched Cam a few times in hs. Went to Westtown like 30 mins from where I live. Dude was the smoothest basketball player I’ve ever seen play and was a plus passer and defender as well. His potential is crazy

going into duke cam was the most polished player, he was wayyy more versatile. but once the ball was moved away from his hands he struggled and that continued well into the nba. cam is a guy who’s gonna need a higher usage rate to put some production out but the question is will the production be efficient and impactful enough to win basketball games. i just don’t know if he has that to him.

Sharp C IQ not ready for full time pg role and no way cam starts. Cam barely found himself a role in ATL, he’s going to need to prove himself if he wants to come out of the log jam that the Knicks have and carve himself a role. Who knows, maybe the Knicks have another trade on the horizon which will free up time for cam to play. Hey kenny, i think it would be really interesting if you did a video rebuilding the portland trailblazers for two years. For this season you should have them tank by trading cj, norm, and nurk for young assets in order to develop them and anfernee and little. I think the swap of Hayward for Turner is a W for both sides. Pacers balance out their roster better, it allows for Sabonis to run the 5, the team gets quicker and better offensively. Worst case, if they reset, they have a good veteran in Hayward to help young guys for a few years. Then when his contract is up, thats money you have available to get pieces around your top pick this year and next year.

I mean, you can't do anything about a guy who wants out and he clearly did, Cam wants to be "the guy" and he probably hated taking a backseat to Trae, Hunter, Bogi etc, I think he could've been a great three and D guy for us but he's stuck in that "I'm the star" mentality. I want a full reset here in Portland. We've clearly needed this for at least two seasons, this being the second or third, depending on what way you look at it. And the execs who see CJ as a negative asset are absolutely correct and spot on. That's been very clear for at least 4 seasons now. But it's also why I wish NO was fired two or three seasons ago, so we could hopefully get a actually competent GM who gives a damn, who would in a heartbeat trade CJ while his value in trades was at it's peak. CJ's value is now only going to slide downward, and that's a fact. That hurts us a lot, so the sooner we rid ourselves of him, the better. He's a funny, good guy, but a highly overrated player. Rest fully, but just lockup Ant. Also, personally I still love Dwight Howard as both a person and a player. I love his game still. I'd love to see him come here to Portland for sure, especially if we manage to hit the reset button this season. Bring him in to be a mentor and a leader of a rebuilding team. As a person, he fits here impeccably, as well. Super eccentric, spiritual, loves his crystals, meditation and sage, is like a giant kid, super funny, fun loving spirit, and just a genuinely laid back, kind, gentle guy who has one of the most hilariously humble mentalities in the league.
