Friends it is seeming to be the last hour, and I desire that you acknowledge the God that does exist, and his Son Jesus the Christ, know that you cannot get your righteousness and enter the kingdom of Heaven, by deeds or following the law, but by having your faith in the Holy One ( Jesus the Christ the Son of God ) who makes your righteous through faith. Be converted, have the Holy Spirit, humble yourself, do not be a hypocrite (we are all guilty of this, I am EXTREMELY GUILTY of this), REPENT AND CONFESS YOUR SINS and ask for forgiveness, read the Bible, be baptised in the name of Jesus. Read the Bible read the Bible read the Bible. Start in the 4 Gospel books, Matthew Mark Luke and John, believe what you read, and be changed, and sanctified, be a sheep of Christ's, ❤ Grace and peace be unto you saints

As an old guy, I have seen nearly all of these dunk contests in the years that they were done. I have to say the 1988 Jordan vs Domonique was the most entertaining as it went back and forth and you really didn't know who was going to win. The Vince Carter dunks were the most exciting as the dunk contest was getting boring/routine in the previous years and he re-vitalized it with original dunks. As for the "best" and coolest dunks, I actually think they were done by Aaron Gordon, still cant believe he never won!?!
@zlinedavid
@zlinedavid Жыл бұрын
I've seen most of them...can't quite remember back to '84, but I was alive....and agree, those were the three standout years: 1988, 2000 and 2016. '88 was a slugfest between Dominique and Jordan. 4 50s out of 6 dunks in the finals. 2000, Vinsanity was on another planet, but TMac and Francis put on a hell of a show also. And 2016's battle between LaVine and Gordon was as good as '88.

Oh, and short people (spud) suck in dunk contests, if they can only jump high enough to reach the rim. Reaching the rim is no great feat, it's the creativity, and the freedom in the air that is truly awesome. Short people are lacking where it counts. Whenever someone short gets a 50, it feels like a reward for making history, for example, someone short finally reached that rim, it's not because they necessarily earned it.

Spud Webb being 5'7 and doing all those dunks is simply insane... I love Dom's power dunks and always enjoyed watching them during games... the Levine vs Gordon competition was the most athletic/craziest in my opinion.. damn

Blesdsoe dunk was sick!! Really surprised me!! Awesome compilation I loved some of the 2000 dunk contest footage they enhanced to HD on some dunks. All judges should be required to watch this before the Dunk Contest, so they know what a 50 looks like. I like how pure most of the dunks were, with no props or extra people. They could improvise in the air. It was about power, grace, difficulty, and style

I mean... MJ was so elegant, so graceful when hanging to his dunk. Look at those slow mo's... His legs, arms, all body looks so fluid. And was at the same time the best on game. Others are strong too, don't get me wrong, and may be for some of them more athletic, physically impressive but man... MJ looks like a fish in water, it's so graceful.
