Giannis makes the much larger impact on the defensive end and can close out games with defensive plays(and transition points, which could be another catagory itself) the way joker cant... joker is the better shooter, giannis scores more and more efficient (fg%) and more dominant near the rim. Both can pass... joker is next level, and the greatest big of all time with his passing so clear win there. I think the biggest factor between the two, is that in a 7 game series giannis' physicality wears down a defense more than joker's surgical (yet somehow appears fumbling around, not a knock, part of his charm) game.

I'm a life long bucks fan and giannis is my all time favorite (he made my kids viewing experience far better than mine growing up in the 90s) ....but I'm not gonna pretend like joker isn't also incredible, that takes away from how uniquely dominant each of their games are. Yes, defense is great, but they literally have ZERO offense outside of SGA. Who is small and skinny and will get eaten for breakfast in the post season. With no one else being able to create any kind of offense for themselves or his teammates, OKC's hard ceiling is 2-nd round exit, not even a WCF. Dallas, Denver, Memphis, Minnesota will all crush them. Heck, even Rockets are a more balanced and two-side team in terms of roster for the playoffs. Playoffs is different for several different reasons. This is not supposed to be the playoffs or determine the best team in the league it's just to make the NBA a little bit more interesting during the season. That's one of the reasons is played on a neutral floor which again is different than the playoffs. No home court advantage. And you're right it means nothing other than the players who actually win they get a nice little Christmas bonus which probably don't mean as much to the top players but I bet it means a lot to the ones that's on the team making the minimum.
