The kid playing Michael Jackson is great but in some light he kinda reminds of David Alan Grier, in a good way

These Broadway adaptions of pop music artists make the choreography unnecessarily complicated and really take away some of the “authenticity”. I get trying to put some individualistic spin on the original concepts, but a lot of these musicals based on popular artists really take liberties with the music and dancing that really feel out of place when telling the story of the subjects of the show.
