I have been watching Mr. Schachter throughout this whole trial and he truly is inspiring. He grieved the losses of all the victims, Not just his own. He truly hurt while hearing the killings of all the victims and expressed so much genuine compassion. I’m glad he got to express himself because it was long overdue. That father is right. It is outright offensive to say someone has brain damage to get out of something while there are actual people with brain damage suffering from it. I’ve worked at a hospital and have worked with plenty of people with brain damage. It is a very, very sad thing, families don’t recognize their loved ones because they behave so differently. Yeah I’m not sure why it’s set up that way. It’s a lot easier to sway one persons opinion vs the majority. It’s basically one person making the decision for the rest of the jury, why even have the rest of the jury? Just very redundant.

Well said. As a father I can't image what he is going through or the self control of not jumping over that table and taking matters into his own hands. The fact that his child is 6' under and the murder is still sucking air is ridiculous. The courts failed all of us with this case.
