The Sonoma fires were bad enough, now with lightening storms - it’s like the atmosphere has it against California now. Top it off with an increasing number of Covid cases is not helping any especially with respiratory distress from both sides of the stick. Napa and Sonoma are apocalyptic as well as of course Santa Cruz and those counties. They can't get it under control because not enough firefighters and this year they can't use the prisoners because of Covid19. The national guard won't be ready until next middle of week cause of training. Now their are new lightening storms without rain for the next few days. It's a nightmare. Even Travis AFB had to be evaluated 😪

Dreadful fires... We copped bad bushfires where I live in Australia last Christmas and we are still trying to recover...Some blame it on climate change. I think it has more to do with frequent lightning strikes which easily set the highly combustible dense eucalpypt forests here on fire here. Especiallyif there is a lot of dry wood and undergrowth lying around and no backburns or firebreaks have been done. These have to be done in advance before the fire season starts, we found. If you know you live in fire and floodprone areas like we do here, you have to always be readyto be hit by one or the other or sometimes fires immediatelyfollowedbyfloods, which are always worse after a fire season because the slippery burnt earth allows flood water to flow faster and carry more muck and debris as it moves along. It helps to be prepared for worst disaster scenarios. Harder tocope ifcaught by surprise, unprepared.

I've loved these areas for many, many years. As terrible as these fires are, and so much heartbreak from loss of property, but let's remember that they have been able to achieve evacuations, so loss of life is no where near the amount that occurred from the Camp Fire 2 years ago. I hope those affected by the fires will remember to count their blessings more than they count their losses.

Search *cal fire topo* to check yourself. You need to fiddle with the settings, i choose to show fires and wind plot. It shows red for fires actively burning, yellow for areas already burned. Which map display you use is up to you. Once set up, you can zoom in and out, look at other states and countries. Between current fires and wind direction you get a fair idea of what's around you.

Reality is low? These fires have done more environmental damage than all of the excessive environmental regulation has prevented. Perhaps the efforts of environmental activism would be better spent on fortifying our fire suppression infrastructure. Perhaps relying on prisoners to fight your fires is a bad idea. What is low is the hypocrisy of telling the world your state’s legislation is the premier example on how to be environmentally responsible while also being the epicenter of what is likely the most harmful environmental event since Chernobyl.

hi, my name's daisy and im a Christian. i know that what im about to say has nothing to do with this vid, but i'd like to share some words that might help others during this quarantine :) before quarantine started, my life was a mess. i was always crying, i always felt insecure, and i lacked confidence. it sucked, lol. most days, id come home from school and lay on my bed and cry while some sad kpop song blasted through my ears. other days, i'd try to use upbeat songs to make me happy. don't get me wrong, the blackpink, bts, twice, got7, etc. always managed to put a smile on my face, but it was never permanent. fast forward two months into quarantine (may), i began to slowly drop worldly things and pick up my Bible. i ended up reading the entire Book while changing my lifestyle as well. i did a secular music fast, prayed for at least 45 mins a day, and started watching more Christian related content. my life began to change for the better. i noticed that i was less snappy, i was feeling less suffocated, and i was no longer speaking the same language as the rest of the world. before, i was i hiding behind this mask that was super glued to my face. it was stuck there for years, but God had the strength to pull it off of me while still keeping me intact. my faith in Him is stronger than it has EVER been, and refuse to walk away from Him like i used to. now, you're probably wondering: "how does this help me?". well maybe you can come to Christ and see for yourself the way your life can be changed (obviously you'll still have bad days, but you'll get through it if you have full faith in Him), but ik many of you may not want to do that. i don't plan on forcing my religion on anyone, so here's some advice for those of you rejecting Christ. use this time wisely to work on yourself. know that you are loved by AT LEAST one person in this world. know that you are beautiful and unique. never change yourself to match what you think ppl want from you, but rather, what you want from you (unless they tell you that you have a disgusting personality, then you might need to change). we are all human and no one person is greater than the other, so don't EVER put yourself below/above anyone. be kind and genuine to others even if they don't like you. remember that no matter what, you can do anything. God watches us all and cares deeply for everyone. we are all His creation, but sadly, only some of us are His children. regardless we were created for good, but we have mostly sided with the bad. try to do good so this world can be a better place. i pray that the Lord guides us all into the right path, so our lives can be full of fruitfulness. keep fighting through this pandemic, the battle is not yet over💜💜💜

Wow! Im a wildland firefighter from AZ and every year its usually around this time of the fire season, we always get called out to California, when alot of the fire crews nation wide become unavailable do to there fire season being over for the year, and are no longer available for fire calls until the next year. But our agency keeps us available year around, even in December when its snowing. But do to the covid epidemic our agency has placed us as "Available (In State Only)" Unfortunately. If not for the epidemic, we'd already be there fighting these fires.

Campfires and illegal loggers beacause of the Improperly doused or misplaced fires are one of the leading causes of wildfires. Before starting a fire, make sure you check your area's wildfire to avoid some case of wild fires in the forest.
