Small government ≠ no government. The military exists to protect citizens from foreign governments, it has nothing to do with local governance (outside of certain dictatorial countries). So is a good example of small government.

Why would you use this to spy on people when you can just look at their FB to see what country they are vacationing in, look at their back account to see how much they are spending, triangulate their phones to see location and look at their starbucks account to see what size coffee they ordered? I think this is a good idea since other countries make certain parts for certain thing for our military already so if you kinda think about it. They already know what type of weapons and tech that the military have and so that alone makes it easy for them to understand where the weak and strong point are in our military and so with that, I believe the USA making there own tech would keep other countries guessing instead them already knowing and already have an idea on to go about thing since they know where our weak points are.

This Lucky guy seems nice enough, but his philosophy scares the bejeezus out of me. Clearly he would support any government use of his tech, regardless of his weak protestations to the contrary. Also, I suspect that as long as he makes a buck, whatever Uncle Sam does with his tech is okee-dokee with him. But the reality is that this tech is going to show up more and more in law enforcement and the military, That genie is not going back into the bottle. Hopefully we can keep a lid on the worst abuses inherent in such capabilities.
