The want to give Speaker Johnson the boot because this was a horrible spending bill that he put together with democrats who do NOT have the best interest of this country at heart and it was 1,532 pages long and they gave them 1 day to read it right before it was to be voted on!!! Millions to build a new stadium in Washington State, and a nice big fat juicy raise for Congress of $72,000 a year and none of them deserve it. And also while all the rest of us if a federal agency such as the FBI subpoenaed our cell phone /phone records, we'd have to turn them over or face jail, this bill had it so Congressmen/women didn't have to turn them over. How is that fair? I thought no one was above the law?? And there were other terrible elements of that bill, lots of pork barrel projects that didn't need to be in that bill. I'm so happy it was shot down to a much much smaller bill.
