Do you have any experience with the 99 trucks? My harness is damaged, but I can't find a 99 to get the harness from anywhere. Would it be possible to use a harness from a 2000-02 truck?

Hello, i have a question. So i recently did this to my 2000 chevy silverado single cab. I took the whole dash out of a 4.8 chevy extended cab that had powered windows, mirrors, and locks. I swapped it into my 4.3 single cab. I did everything you had done in this series and my windows and locks work but my truck does not want to stay on. Is it because my truck is a v6?
@TWAMotorsports2 жыл бұрын
Yes. Try to swap your body control module out of the old dash and see what happens. What year was the dash out of?
@juanvega5262 жыл бұрын

Did you do the key relearn process where you turn the key on for 10 minutes, then off for 30 seconds. Back on for 10 mins, off for 30 seconds, then back on for 10 mins. After the 3rd 30 second cycle it should start and stay on. Check your wiring too. Especially if you are having issues with the original BCM that you know worked prior to your swap. Hope that helped .
