Funny enough Simon Says is a favorite among NCTzens lol. There’s just something about it. Another “weird” one is ‘Chain’ where Taeil hits another one of those notes. Also NCT vocals as a WHOLE are HUGELY slept on. Vocal god Taeil be hitting all the notes. There are a few slightly vocal heavier NCT songs mainly b sides and a couple NCT U tracks

NCT's music is known as NCT "noise". Taeyong is NCT 127's official leader (unofficial of whole NCT). He is the first guy you see in this video taking off his mask. He is also a member of the super group, Super M edit: Taeil hits the high note! he is one of the best vocalists in SM Ent

Simon Says is my most favorite NCT 127 track, but these days I'm getting sooo addicted to Kick It. Please also check out NCT U, another NCT unit that is rotational. I recommend Boss, The 7th Sense, Baby Don't Stop, Yestoday. Also, NCT Dream (younger unit in terms of age) - Ridin', Boom Thank you.

yes I totally agree!! nct’s song are just so experimental and especially nct 127 really has their own sound!! please check out their other unit, nct dream (the babies)! they are the youngest of nct, it’s a rotational unit as two of the dreamies are also in nct127 and superm (u know mark lol) so they don’t always participate in the comebacks, but officially there are 7 dreamies!! what’s different about the dreamies is that they debuted when they were VERY young (maknae was 14 at debut), so they started out with young, fresh, cute concepts that were SO adorable! However now, since they’ve matured their music has also matured a ton and I think they’re beginning to find their own sound (btw dream is my fav unit hehe)! What I tell everyone is that my favorite part of nct dream is seeing their growth from baby to real MEN lol! if you want to react to them I highly highly recommend check out these three songs IN THIS ORDER: Chewing Gum, Go, Ridin’. Here’s why lol: Chewing Gum is their debut song, it’s SO iconic and catchy and they were LITERAL BABIES in it!! I like to think of Go as that teenage phase of life where they want to rebel and go literally the opposite of the cute concept that they had done before (it was their first comeback with a more mature concept). And finally Ridin is their most recent comeback, where I feel like they’ve matured into real men, and they’re also beginning to find their own sound!! so if u watch those in that order I feel like you’d get a pretty good feel of their whole journey, which is my fav part! I do want to say that those aren’t necessarily my absolute favorite songs from them (though they are still bangers), but I feel like as a intro to Dream those are the best songs to go to in order to see their journey!! My favorite songs music/choreo wise are Ridin, We Go Up, and My First and Last (maybe you could check those out later?) and btw, the softjun guides are really great!! they’re pretty old but all the information is basically the same. Fyi, for softjun’s Dream guide, I recommend u watch the original version before the updated version, as the updated guide is more like building off of the old one than a standalone guide! I really could go on forever when it comes to nct hehe, sorry for the long comment but I hope it helped!! :)

i would recommend a different one because its really too old... especially for wayv its not good. im not saying the guide is shit but it bugs me how old it is and how everyone recommends it. im sure there are other guides who are more up to date

Shoko, yes I understand that the guide is quite old but it really is easy to grasp and understand for beginners. I've been trying to find guides that are updated but the ones I see are confusing, so I always end up recommending softjun's guides. If you happen to know good guides tho, drop the links here. "I can see someone loving this or I can see someone hating this." That is so true. It is a common saying among fans that NCT music is not for the masses. Their music concept and genre is very unique. People who can understand the unique-ness of their music will appreciate their music. They're one of a kind from their group concept to their music. However the concept of the new gen SM artists are very experimental and unique from Red Velvet to EXO to NCT and even Shinee and most of their older gen artist. They're not afraid to try diff genre's and concept every comeback. Do check them out.

this is my favorite song from them as well as my favorite choreo. check out the dance practice after this. their sound is so unique and distinct from other kpop groups, sm always does it different even with girlgroups, just look at red velvet. the one who did the crazy high note is taeil, the main vocalist and oldest member. he's one of the best vocalists these days. :)

You should react to NCT U - The 7th Sense, that is the Debut for the NCT family. SM Entertainment chose 5 members to showcase what the unit of all 21 members would be. It was Taeyong, Mark, Jaehyun, Doyoung, and Ten. SM Entertainment then used Taeyong to lead NCT 127, Mark to lead NCT DREAM, Ten to lead WAYV (Leader or not). The 7th Sense is the start of everything you see, NCT 127, NCT DREAM, and WAYV. Enjoy their debut. Mark was 16 years old in the video. NCT (OT21) entire sound is Hiphop/Trap/R&B/Electronic/Futuristic.

I'm glad you're planning on checking out guides for NCT! The softjun guides for each unit are pretty old, but still actually quite relevant, accurate, fun and easy to comprehend. They do also have an updated guide for NCT Dream so I recommend checking that one out. But I also wanted to suggest a new guide I found recently for all 21 members that is actually extremely good and very concise and easy to understand. It is long, but any good guide for all the members is guaranteed to be long. I'd recommend watching it, in addition to the softjun guides, as this guide gives more information on the group and how it works, while softjun focuses more on the members, they're relationships and talents. NCT 127 = experimental, and the results are always fire. But SM ent is known for experimental sounds, I've been in Kpop for almost 11years this year, and all SM groups have that experimental sounds in their songs compared to other groups in the same era starting from TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls Generation (SNSD), Shinee, f(x), EXO. When you feel to start a new kpop journey, I suggest Super Junior from the 2nd gen, the Hallyu King and one of the OG of kpop..

NCT127 main vocalist are Taeil (pronounced like tail in english), Doyoung, & Haechan, they are hightoners, Taeil mostly execute the highest note like in Simon Says. If u wana listen them singing "normal" songs, try Make Your Day, from latest album, lyrics n vocal are fine, or Jet Lag & She No Longer Needs Me from previous ones, u can also check latest album, the songs spoiling ears!

If there was a pyramid in KPop NCT would belong to the upper tier. Their music is not really for the masses. I mean of course they’re now million sellers too but if you really dig deep into their concepts, musicality, dance performances and visual their really top tier as most SM groups are but they’re still underrated I would say. There are a lot of new fans who just join the bandwagon cause suddenly KPop is hip and they’re amazed with the first group they hear cause KPop does deliver. I mean the whole industry is so talented. But as an SM Stan you will see that the artist of SM do deliver. You should watch the concerts that are uploaded here or you can visit DreamMaker the division that plans their concerts. You’d see the difference of SM made concerts. One example would be the 2018 Nissan Stadium concert of TVXQ. They even have a waterfall on stage. Gosh! NCT127 is about SWAG! Their confidences, songs, dances, raps, vocals, are outstanding. They are not typical, they are not common... These makes them stoods out. If you now Mark, definitely you must now Taeyong, he is the leader of NCT127. They are the Iconic Duo Rappers and well knowned as duo best rappers in the industry. Abt vocals, they are legends! They are all have amazing voices, and each member have different tones, which are collaborated into amazing beautiful harmonies. And then you should hear "Touch and Welcome to My Play Ground" there're kinda like another level of NCT127 song.
