Geometry is one of humanity’s longest ongoing projects, beginning more than 25 centuries before Pythagoras. It has ventured beyond the 3D world into a menagerie of curved and twisted worlds, expanding our mathematical universe.
What would it be like to live in a curved world?
We’ll think about what it means to ‘see’ using computer graphics to explore several of the modern geometric spaces integral to current research in both pure and applied mathematics.
