As a kid, I have lived in these regions, taking trips in barrack valley and hill queen express , getting anxious when the trains approached Langting and Phifing 😅. Giving them a state status can seriously compromise on security and increase the chances of high level corrouption .. Good infrastructure and including tribals at national level is the only long term solution . Request to my Dimasa brothers and sisters , Please donot behave like jihadis , You have a pristine and mystic culture which needs to be preserved .. You are not like jihadis . Your Rational and genuine Indian brethen is always with you .

comparing us with jihadis is disgusting, these groups were formed in response to several threats that our community faced both from the government and other communities, but I admit these groups went rogue and started operating just for their own gain. And it has been a long time now. Besides you can see the present demographic shift in cachar and nagaon, that is what happens when we dont protect ourselves and let the immigrants free reign.
