redbull junkie ! funny, yeah he's the Bob Ross of fishing ! LOL Once I found Matt I don't have any interest in any other actually other than informational vids from manufactures and Bassresource forum . All the hype of lures, rods and reels and such really doesn't matter. I mean some of the crazy lures he used is proof that fish don't really care, for the most part, what you toss in front of them. He doesn't indulge on gear, just shares what he uses and that he likes them, and see how they work, and moves on. Doesn't overload you with info. Layed back guy, easy and enjoyable to watch. I learn alot from Matt.

Anyone who loves the outdoors and fishing needs to see the Boundary Waters area of Minnesota. It is a pristine area. It is like time forgot about it. The beauty of it along with the calm and serenity is something hard to find elsewhere. This is definitely the best fishing channel there is on KZbin.

I'll always remember the smell and sound of heavy rain on a calm lake in the Boundary Waters. The smell of the fire in the cabin where we dried out and waited to eat was just as good. The lodge was owned by a family that had kids that were exactly our ages. The one that was my age was a very pretty girl. Her name was Peggy. Ha! You never know that you're having the best time of your life when you're that young. I remember it often when I'm falling asleep. After long consideration, the only thing I'd change is that I'd want all of my dogs there with us. Thanks for the video. I'll be watching it again.

My dad caught a 9 pound LMB off of a spider web on deadwood. He hung his lure over the web between two deadwood trees and it jumped out of the water and destroyed it. One of the wildest catches I have ever seen. We also caught one in a similar fashion with the lure laying over the boat just like your yak, pretty wild for sure.

It’s good to watch this. I grew up fishing those northern shield lakes. I’ve been in western ND for 10 years so I even enjoy the sound of the birds. It’s funny, almost no one (myself included) fish for smallies up there. If anything we complain when it’s hard to get the lure past them to walleye depth hahaha! Not sure if you use a polarized lens but it’s great to see bottom on cam. Excellent content, thanks for posting!
