You just witnessed the greatest vocalist alive. He’s from Kazakhstan, sings in 15 different languages, plays multiple musical instruments and is currently working on his PhD in music. He’s been training since the age of 5, has a 6-8 octave range (depending on who you ask) has absolute pitch, and is an amazingly humble man. He sings every genre (even raps) He has many recent performances, but I would highly recommend "Sinful Passion, "Stranger" 2021, "Ikanaide" 2021, "Adagio" 2017, "Daybreak" at Bastau 2017. Each performance will leave you stunned.

Subscribed 👍 Dimash was 23 here. He graduated in Classical (Bel Canto)> age 20, and Contemporary (Jazz,Pop)> age 24. Started vocal+piano school at age 5 > teachers noticed he has >absolute pitch F#6(chest-mix-head voice-flageolet) + E7 -> G7 (whistle) + D8 (whistle note higher than the piano range). He covers a solid 6 octave range as phonating(singing) register, + an extra 1/2 octave below in fry register, + 1/2 octave above in whistle register, totaling 7,2 octaves. In 2020 he also got a master`s degree in Composition.

Dimash is to voice what Michelangelo is to art. The world does not have a recorded artist that has ever been as capable in all forms of vocal interpretation. As a Doctor of musical arts and science, it is my humble opinion that Dimash is a gift long-awaited and in need by the world. Aware or not, Dimash is far more than an entertainer, he is a healer for those in desperate need of reconnection. Perfect resonance, perfect balance in an unbalanced world.

Just go to his official KZbin channel Dimash Qudaibergen and watch his FIRST performance of the song "SOS" on the Chinese show "Singer" from 2017 where he was a contestant. He has 10 more performances from this show available to watch! Watch 2nd, 3rd and so on. He was 22 years old then. He is now 27 and has done so many things since. He is a world renowned vocalist. You cannot call Dimash just a singer. He has an 8 octive range. You will see. Just watch everything he has done. He also has a lot of pop songs in English such as "Fly Away", "Screaming" and "Be With Me". He is an exceptional talent! Your life will never be the same!

This song is a pearl of the French songbook is a Canadian-French cyberpunk-rock opera written in 1976 by Michel Berger (French) and with lyrics by Luc Plamondon (Canada) and was immortalized in the voices of Daniel Balavoine, Diane Dufresne and Grégory Lemarchal. The theme of the song is depression and, in the 2021 version (DImash Digital Show), Dimash faithfully and brilliantly presents a sentimental and melancholic interpretation! Slavic Bazaar in Belarus, IS an annual singing contest, but Dimash was performing as a guest here, in 2018. He won this contest in 2015 which put him on the path to worldwide fame. In 2021 he was one of the judges and he also was a guest singer of five songs. Five absolutely amazing performances! He’s extremely famous in Russia and China and he does have fan clubs all around the world in 140 countries. He did have a sell out concert at the Barclay Centre in New York, in December 2019, just before COVID-19 stopped his worldwide tour. He was intending to move to the US, at that time for a while, but that was obviously put on hold! He has performed in China, Russia and Dubai in 2022 and has also had sell out concerts in Europe recently. He is THE greatest vocalist of ALL time. He sings in all genres and in 13 languages, including English (SOS is French). He is classically trained since the age of five and he has two degrees in Classical and Contemporary singing, a Masters in Composition (he received a perfect score in that) and he is currently in his final year studying for his Doctorate in Musicology. He still has vocal training for three hours every day. He also plays 7 instruments really well! His current range is over 7 octaves. You’ll be shocked at EVERY performance! The amazing thing is, every reactor/listener after hearing this says "Wow, at least now I'm prepared for the next one". Uh-uh, this man can perform classics, ballads, pop, Kazakh traditional, and even metal/rapping. Until, after you've heard about a dozen songs, you have some idea of the talent and commitment he always brings. And even then, each new song is a delight.

👉This song is Dimash’s calling card. That is the song of the songs for Dimash and us, his Dears (That is what Dimash calls us fans.) The song comes from the famous Canadian-French rock opera 'Starmania' 1978, well known in French-speaking countries) and is one of the most difficult songs to sing and in 2017 made Dimash a mega-star overnight. That's how it all started: In 2017 Dimash received a wildcard for the “The Singer” competition in China. He was the youngest participant ever (22 years old). Foreign participants were actually forbidden at that time. The director ignored the ban, believing Dimash would only stay 1 or 2 episodes and then go home. Despite Dimash's planned brief presence, his name was intended to be symbolic and understandable to the public. Dimash was given the Chinese name Dimashi and the 3 syllables were assigned in Chinese characters: ⭐Di - achievement ⭐Ma - precious stone ⭐Shi - dream, wish. The competition is not a talent show. Only professional, award-winning singers participate. Nobody knew or heard Dimash before and he had to start first ... and after his first song "SOS" Dimash captured the hearts of over 600 million viewers and a mega-star was born overnight. The next day, bodyguards stood in front of his door. The competition consisted of 14 rounds over 4 months. The jury consisted of 500 spectators who knew music, not just your average "Joe". They were well screened to be sure they would be able to judge the musicians fairly and competently. With up to 1 billion people watching this TV program and international interest was aroused. The performances were uploaded to KZbin ... and so we became Dimash's Dears. The Chinese organizers planned... but Dimash came, sang and stayed ... for the next 3 years in China ... but he only finished second in the competition because he is not Chinese (conditions have changed: 2018, Jessie J. won). A few months later Dimash sang this song here, as a guest of honor at the opening ceremony of the competition 'Slavic Bazaar 2018'. The International Arts Festival “Slavianski Bazaar“ is an annual festival held in Vitebsk, Belarus since 1992. Its main program is devoted to Slavic music (also a Competition). The last release for his vocal range was 7 octaves 2 notes. He began his classical vocal training at age 5 and continued through age 25. Still continues to train as needed and rehearses hours every day. He also plays at least 7 instruments. He also has trained in pop and contemporary vocals. You will hear him sing anything from Michael Jackson to Operatic scores written just for him. His entire life is dedicated to his craft. He is an athlete to keep his unbelievable breath control at optimum. As was said, he is from Kazakhstan. 6'3" tall. Eurasian by ethnicity. He will be 28 May 24, so very soon. I am sure I have never heard anyone as technically perfect as he is. SOS was a great place to begin. So fun to watch new people discover Dimash! His range IS amazing, and it's wider than what is shown here. He is also excellent at transmitting the emotion of the songs he sings. Try "Drunken Concubine and Diva Dance" where he sings with another excellent and very interesting singer or "Sinful Passion" and then for a quick overview of most of his range try "Stranger" New Wave Version. Dimash actually won the Grand Prix at this same event three years prior, in 2015, with this same song, but sung differently. Indeed, Dimash never sings it quite the same way every time, though SOS has pretty much become his flagship song now. Yes, he does have an amazing range, though you haven’t even heard here his highest or lowest. Please try “Unforgettable Day “ (the version from the Gakku concert) for his highest recorded note so far : a D8; and “Stranger” for some of his lowest notes.

Let me recommend to you the joint works of Dimash with the Russian composer Igor Krutoy. Maestro Krutoy wrote many songs for Dimash and sees him in the genre of "crossover", although the singer has a classical opera education. Dimash performs here at the 2018 International Festival of Arts “Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk”, generally known simply as “Slavic Bazaar.” It is an annual festival held in Vitebsk, Belarus, sponsored by the Belarusian Government since 1992. Its main program promotes Slavic music and the majority of participants are artists from the former Soviet Union and other Eastern Bloc countries. The song “SOS (d'un Terrien en détresse)” is originally from a French-Canadian musical called ‘Starmania’ from the 1970s and is considered one of the most difficult French songs to perform. You have barely even begun to scratch the surface of Dimash's talent and ability. He has continued to hone his skills and to fine-tune and perfect his already unbelievable abilities even more. There does not seem to be a limit to what he can achieve vocally. I am excited to follow his journey. Dimash will possibly go down in history as the greatest vocal talent known to man. I cannot think of anyone, past or present, capable of doing what Dimash is capable of. I am still waiting on someone to name a single individual even remotely close to Dimash's mastery. Dimash is THE best singer ever. You’ve seen nothing yet, this song is only a warm up for Dimash. He sings in 15 languages, has a 7/8 octave range, he plays multiple instruments, he sings genres from rap to opera. He is also the loveliest most humble young man on earth and treats us Dears (his name for us fans) like gold. He has just got better and better and no one thought he could improve much more but by god he has. You should start at the singer show in China he sings SOS on the show but differently in parts, show must go on, opera 2, all by myself, adagio, autumn strong and hello, Lionel Richie banned Dimash from ever singing HIS song again, also the singer called vitas from opera 2, simply cause he made the songs so much better. Dimash is by far the best vocalist alive/ ever. And I am not overrating him. Just see for yourself after a song or 5 at least. And still, what others say, you will be suprised évery time! I had the once in A lifetime experience (although I cant wait to see him again in concert!) to attent his concert in Germany, Düsseldorf the 9th of april. I am still in AWE!!!
