Really like this list! Could you do a similar thing with specific creators? ( i.e. favorite 5 books by Ed Brubaker) Have you read Optic Nerve, Love & Rockets or American Splendor? Those are 3 of my all time favorites and I'm curious to see what you think. I really appreciate your videos. Your enthusiasm is infectious!

Great shout on New Warriors Omar! I hope we get a thick Complete Collection of this to add to my X-Men collection; the cast are nearly entirely de-powered x-characters and I also enjoyed this run

The thing that bothered me the most was the tie-in to "Secret Invasion". I don't like continuity errors. Lol Either commit to the canon or do not. At least explain a retcon. Lol

Oh, thanks for reminding me that I need to pick up vol 2 and 3 of Heathen, but if vol 3 is OOP, maybe I should wait and hope for an all-in-one HC collection. Really loved vol 1 when I read it a few years back, the art is amazing and the story was too IIRC. Looked at my shelves for something that the mighty Omar may not have heard of but you probably have heard of everything anyway, but if I had to pick some of my hidden gems I would pick The Stuff of Legend, just waiting for the third omnibus to wrap up the story, so good and amazing art. Squarriors is another one with amazing art.

Hey Omar never stop giving us this amazing content please. What's with your logo/emblem that crops up at the 16:57 mark, here's to hoping I win a prize for being what seems to be the first to notice it 🤣 also I'm currently reading fear agent which you felt to be Remenders magnum opus, do you still feel that this is his best work because I feel, and this is obviously my opinion, that it's kind of lacking compared to some of his more recent stories like Black science. Just curious to see if your opinion might have changed over time.

Terrific selection. Paco Medina is an amazing artist and a wonderful person. Out of all these titles, I've only read Heathen and yes, it's highly recommended. Sadly, Natasaha is not avalibale to keep drawing the book, I think due to some health issues with her hand, but she´s still an amazing writer.

Just recently acquired 1-11 and plan to re-read to see how it holds up.

Unrelated to this video but uh….damn dude, how you feeling about the Hickman news? I also want the Krakoa era to last 20 years and to let all these amazing writers make the most of their new toys. I’m happy with waiting on Hickman’s next big revelation that would move the story into its next act, I’m just concerned that will never happen or that it won’t happen until the books have gotten stale.

@@alaay1864 I'm confindent you will enjoy it!! Although it's not among the greatest three from Roca (those would be 'Wrinkles', 'Los surcos del azar', which I don't know if it has been published in the States, and 'La casa', which, again, don't know if it has an English edition) it is a very heartwarming story.

The Volume 4 of the title you recommended is kind of a mess. The final arc, acting as a tie-in to a Marvel line wide event, creates some serious continuity issues, even showing off the corpses of characters that were said to be disintegrated. Lol Such an odd series at that point. The opening arc was fun, though.
