Boy , really packs a punch this piece, appreciate you giving the 1/ 12th scale pieces some review time. Always impressed by what they can do at this scale and the Queen really demands your attention. What an imagination HR Geiger must have had to envision the original Alien😮. Inevitable the top heavy nature off the piece will give cause for concern over stability and yes I am sure the joints are stiff, but once you find a pose you like I think you are good to go👍. Tremendous addition to your stellar collection, congratulations on another fantastic pick up. As always , excited for your upcoming reviews, mind how you go 👍

Absolutely 💯 it’s a proper wrestling match trying to pose this one but once you’ve nailed it the figure is spectacular. Stan Winston took Giger’s original design and created something quite amazing, and apart from a few niggles NECA have done it justice….I would love to see this done in 1/6 scale😮 thanks as always for your comments and support, take care and happy collecting 👍

FTR James Cameron designed the Alien Queen (he's not a bad illustrator). Though Stan and his studio made it work marvelously.

I wished they could have improved a lot around the issues of this design to make it more sturdy. The paint and details are great. As NECA is bigger than standard 1:12 this may be 1:10 in actual.

Thanks for your comments and supporting the channel it’s much appreciated 👍🏻 Absolutely 💯 I have been mixing up my scales with the NECA figures..as another viewer pointed out they are 1/10 not 1/12…my mistake. Your’e quite right the paint applications, screen accuracy and sculpt are all on point with this figure but it is inherently unstable and fragile in places due to its design and NECA could have come up with a better display/design solution. Nice review! This is a awesome figure, I'm glad I picked it up. I think the spines go on the other way with the fins facing inwards, had to look at a few pics to make sure! I'd love to have a avp queen at this scale tho she would be bigger 😅
