Strawman much? Most of the "hate" (more like disappointment) is in regards to it lacking rumble. Its gyro and touch analog sticks have been praised a lot.

@@Necrocom4 I am looking forward to watch those videos. You are basically the only person that really knows how to use that controller and what is its purpose. I know you know your stuff, but the channel "FlickStick Videos" is the most knowledgeable channel I know about gyro. Just in case you get some ideas for your videos. Maybe it is what you said in the video, you need to stick to it some time, I still find unconfortable gyro, but I really want to get the hang of it. Anyway, I am not looking forward to see a stellar performance in your videos, the better if they are, but what I really would like to see if how to set that specific controller for each video, and just for fun, also videos playing, if with handcam the better. BTW, I have a Alpakka Controller, in theory the most advanced gyro controller. Also there is the BigBig Won Blitz 2 TMR (some people report that the non TMR version of this controller has worse gyro) with 1000Hz polling rate for gyro, but I have not seen any perfmance or use of it, it is too new.

@@InterstellarLord i play apex and off the grid. Im very good with gyro and always on top. My best tipp i can give you is to use big and small movement flicks to get on your enemy. Big movement flicks = Go with movement stick, aim stick and gyro in the same direction. Small movement flicks = Go with movement stick and gyro in the sams direction. When your corsair is on the enemy, immedietely go into tracking. Track him with just mirror his movement with your movement, or counter his movement and track him with the same tools from small or big "movement flick"
@bibabutzemann56613 ай бұрын
@@InterstellarLord I outperfotm players in apex with their 40000 kills on wraith. I play with sticks and gyro together. (no aim assist) When i started gyro, my goal was to be as good as my mnk skills. But i got even better. I think a big advantage of gyro over mnk is the ability of fast switching the directions and the ability to make a very fast transition from flicks to tracking. Because we use both arms with the controller in the air. I play with 4x rotations in game with 1 rotation on controller, with liniar acceleration. My big gamechanging tipp is, use movement flicks. Big movement flicks = move stick + aim stick + gyro in the same direction. Small movement flicks = move stick + gyro in the same direction. Then track the enemy by copy his movemwnt or counter his movement with the same tools from the movement flicks. I would only use regular gyro flicks when you dont have the movement stick ready for aiming in some situations. (Like after jumping and other things)
@TheSilverWolf19983 ай бұрын
I think the reason you didnt like the steam deck gyro is because by default the steam deck uses "roll" for left/right while controllers use "yaw" for left/right. Think of the "laser pointer" of the gyro is calibrated to point out the back of the deck so your gyro movements mirror the screen like a window. Gyro controllers have their "pointer" calibrated to be coming out the top of the controller because youre aiming that part of the controller towards an external screen. You can change the roll/yaw/pitch for any gyro in settings.

If the face buttons aren't working it may just be dirt or corrosion on the button contacts, some isopropyl alcohol and a q-tip will likely fix it if that is the case. Also I play quite a few arcade-style racing games (most recently FlatOut 2) and I find the double-action triggers quite nice, A satisfying click and tactile feedback to let me know that I'm at full throttle. What Bluetooth receiver are you using with it? If on board with the motherboard. What is your motherboard? As far as I can tell testing this controller with various PCs, steam deck, BT Dongles. The better the receiver the better the it performs. But it still feels like it's polling rate is only 60hz. I play games at higher refresh rates to for me the ps4 pad still wins out due to the 1000hz polling rate on the gyro. Was hoping this would be a replacement as they do not make ps4 controllers anymore and the ps5 pad just hates my hands.

@@Necrocom4 maybe because you play with a bigger deadzone? I put the deadzone down to 0 on the hori until i got a little bit stick drift. At this point it felt the same as my deadzone of 3 on the dualsense. When i do bigger motions with the stick its fine. But when i just move it a tiny bit above the deadzones the corsair moves only in 45 degree angles in FPS games. (tested in apex)
