I made many mistakes this game (skorpehk lord revival a big one) but it's still one of the best 40k games I've ever played in terms of fun. Honestly JonP should have won this and I fully concede the victory to him. I hope for a rematch when we know our armies a bit better. It would be a blast

@@hellsing7310 I ain't bricky, but in terms of models/actual tabletop try a start collecting box or a unit set you would like, you don't have to start big (in fact I highly advise against starting big). Find the army by looking through rules on wahapedia and find discord servers with question or noobie help tabs. In terms of playing and learning it's mostly experience in combination with reading so if you can't afford a big enough army to play a small game with a buddy or a local gamestore I recommend checking out Tabletop simulator for gameplay, feeling out armies, etc.

@@ViniciusJLima Literally everything in the Guard that isn't 'Meta'. Example: Tauros Venattors and Assault Vehicles (RIP) Valkyries, Vultures, and Vendetta Gunships. Leman Russ Plasma Executioner Basilisk Commissar, Lord Commissar, and Commissar Yarrick Scout and Armored Sentinels Manticore looks great as well, so I guess that is on the list. One day we'll have our codex where the best stuff isn't just Demolisher Tank Commander, Bullgryn, and Full Payload Manticore.

@@mcarrowtime7095 Oh its certainly fun to play, I use at least half the stuff on the list (Nearly all actually now that I look at it...), and its pretty nice to see how other people react to the funny rules that exist (Such as the Chemdog's auto Hit and always wound on 2s shenanigans), its just once the shock ends and they actually start punching back, you tend to die and lose board control, losing the game. I actually try to go out of my way to not be meta, because I tend to find meta playstyles as boring and repetitive, so while it gets frustrating when you lose because your not bringing 3 Tank Commanders with Demolisher Cannons, 4 Guard Squads with Mortars and 2 barebones, a few Platoon Comanders shouting move-move-move and 2 Manticores with Full Payload. Oh, and always bringing the Reroll shot dice and 18" RF Custom Guard. There's nothing wrong with playing meta or not, its just one tends to win games slightly more often and seems repetitive (To me at least). Man, I really need to get used to condensing down my ideas to not have to write TL:DRs

I'm a necrons main and enjoy them a lot. A good tip for necrons when you've got doomstalkers is to actually move them up. I know it sucks to have to fire with the low power, however, their sentinel construct ability slaps and is seriously underused.

I only started watching this channel recently and this is the third game between Bricky and JohnP. In all 3 games JohnP goes on a rolling streak when saving that just prevents 2 or 3 important units from dying for like 1.5 - 2 turns. Just absolutely soaking attacks from Bricky's units. JohnP's ability to just stay alive is impressive.

Yes, you score a point per kill, this counts even if the killed thing reanimated. As far as working well, idk, i have a friend who tries that, and depending on the build of crons, even though you can score multiple points per body, the bodies are still almost as tough as marines. If running a more fragile list, yes ttr isnt a bad one, but if they are running a chrono, cover arcana, dont move dynasty, etc, tts is just not fast enough

Nah, I believe that may have been the old rules. The current reanimation protocol happens once the attacking unit has resolved all its shooting or melee attacks.
