Praetorians don't get dynasty buffs. Necron player kept giving them AP -1 to shoot with their pistols. Which is illegal.

When the big chunk of marines died did the ancient not trigger on any of them or were they all out of range??

They mostly triggered and they all shot at one of the doomscythes bringing it down to just 2 wounds remaining. 👍

rule of 3 is an optional rule in most cases, so id have no issue with the hellblasters even if they were not combat squads. just my 2 cents

so um a 3 necron flyer activate some kind of strategem that took out 28 mortal wound from the primaris !!? what !!???

Yup! Don’t bunch your models up around three doomscythes!! Every unit within 3” of a chosen point takes 3d3 mortal wounds on a 4+. Goes to 3+ for units of 5 or more models and 5+ against characters. 👍

@@EmperorsCrusade It's the same as the old Linebreaker Bombardment for 3 vindicators, but when Simon warned me about it, I assumed it was more like the Orbital Bombardment, so I wasn't concerned. Linebreaker Bombardment is not scary because 3 vindicators don't get to move the way Doom Scythes do. But more importantly, Simon passed every 3+ to target a unit and consistently rolled 6 or 8 wounds on 3D3.
