Fun vid with lots of action. Entertaining to watch the banter between you and your buddies. Loved the moment when they pulled the “bump the rod when the guy ain’t lookin’” trick. You set them straight right away. Good for you.

I fish ned rigs all different ways but from articles I've read, dead sticking is the original intent for this bait. In fact it was fished on 6ft rods with 1000 size reels mainly so you don't move it at all. But like they said in the video whatever works best that day is the favorite technique.

chart. heads seem to work well but I still catch a lot of fish with black or unpainted orange works also.

The big TRD was the only bait to get bit consistently yesterday on the BIG Pond of St Clair. I threw jerks and lipless with only 1 fish. Tried the trusty black marabou jig and couldn't draw but a couple bites and 1 in the boat, so I cut off the hair and the rest was history. Caught 8 in the last 1.5 hours. They were biting like little gills as you described in this vid.

Best color ned for me is Canada craw or black n blue! I wish you would of tried different colors besides head color just for the hell of it.

Nice video, but you need some details - like what type of structure, how deep, what's the water temperature, what time of year, etc.? This way the viewer has some context to apply these methods on their own waters. Hope you do this with all your videos. Paul Prorok

Great video! You should have switched up the bait to a TRD bugz or hogz or something, I'd be interested to see if that made a difference in #'s or size... cant be giveing up to much at once though😉 haha keep up the awesome content!👍

I've tried the weed guard ned heads a handful of times but it seems like my hookup ratio is terrible. Without the weed guards my hookups are flawless. Not sure if its just me or maybe since its such a finesse technique the weed guard really messes up the hook set or they are not taking it in good. I dont have problems with weed guards on other baits just the ned ones.

So I throw my Ned out there and get a birds nest in my reel. I carefully undo the mess and reel the slack line in. Several minutes go by, bingo, my reel screams, fish on! I learned how to dead stick a Ned rig!

I don’t get it. A bait that looks like nothing. It does nothing and your not moving it at all. Fish will bite anything! Yet they’re so hard to catch sometimes .

Yes a click bait title but still very informative for people learning finesse techniques. Line watching, head color changes, etc... thanks for posting, im gonna try new head colors, always have used either black or green pumpkin
