@@gingervikingjesus2351 Yee, But the extra damage when using high-quality tranq weapons is almost unnoticable for generally every tame, The only time i'd say that a high level weapon isn't worth it for a tame is when taming penguins (old ark since you can now just claim their babies), and low level dinosaurs, But generally i've gone with the mindset that if my tranqs can kill a dinosaur, It aint worth it

@@jollabang9564 I.E. low level tames. Usually when I'm searching for a specific creature to tame, I usually just clear the area of all creatures until I get a high level to spawn. It gets me plenty of meat/berries and it levels up my tamed creatures as well.

You can also use a Frog's lick attack to tranq out dino's pretty quickly. They're even more effective than scorpions.

Yes, ascendant rifles knock things out quicker. The more damage a rifle does, directly translates to torpor damage as well. So if you’re taming stuff, use the best rifles you have.

Careful though, the actual damage also increases at the same rate. Very weak enemies might die.
