I've got Need for Speed: Shift on my 360, it's still a great circuit racing game and looks fantastic for a game from 2009. A lot of the 360 games are still fantastic.

This game still has a special place in my heart. I was 11 in 2008 and I enjoyed it a lot despite ass performance.

Does the story ever start to make sense in this one? It just seems so random

@@Skycaptin5 I think it's a good story, especially for a NFS game. The thing to keep in mind though is that cars in cutscenes might not match the ingame cars of certain characters, so it can be confusing. But otherwise it's fine.

@ i just found it sort of random insert wise the cutscenes and was like, what is happening! But helps to know

@@Skycaptin5 later on in the story you'll be getting cool missions that go in line with the lore and cutscenes. Like stealing cars, delivering stuff, chasing and wrecking people, accepting challenges etc. As I said, I first played it as a kid and so it's not surprising it left a good impression - but I still trust that impression. Story wise it's 100% better than Heat, Payback and Unbound. It's more or less on NFS 2015 level, which I think had a decent story.
