Just what I needed to hear 🙏. You rock Mel! Your 5.4.3.2.1. has been my 2020 saving grace. Thank you for having the courage to live on both the outer most rings, as well as over the edge, of the comfort zone. You’re my 🦸‍♀️ right there next to Wonder Woman 🤗😉👍

“Have patience - wait, but do not sit idle; work while you are waiting; smile while you are wearied with monotony; be firm while everything around you is being shaken; be joyous while the ugly face of despair grins at you; speak aloud while the malevolent forces of the nether world try to crush your mind; be valiant and courageous while men all around you are cringing with fear and cowardice. Do not yield to the overwhelming power of tyranny and despotism. Continue your journey to the end. The bright day is coming." ‘Abdu'l-Bahá

Please keep making videos as they help more than you can ever imagine. I need to hear these conversations and inspiring talks. Thank you. P.S. For what it's worth, I think it was short-sighted for NBC to have canceled your powerful show......it was a diamond in the ruff!

It wasn't even rough...it was the best talk show that has come along since Phil Donahue. I don't understand how they can keep these other talk shows where they are testing dna everyday to see who the daddy is and cancel Mel's show. She must have hit a nerve somewhere in hollywood where the powerful hide a LOT.

Being in the UK I had never heard of you but after listening to your Audible series quite a few things resonated with me. The way you talk so effortlessly helps the listener to believe in what you say. Life experience is the best teacher and you are using everyone life experience to help others. Keep up the good work and I look forward to trying many new things in the future, including trying a relaxing bath tonight🙂.

Thank You Mel Robbins You hit the nail in spot with explaining the difference between jealousy and envy. It's not nice to be the recipient of envy, especially when people who dish it out are supposedly those who we have years of connection with. Even when they are shown/told how hard other people are fatigued behind closed doors. So either keep the friendship going or cut the ties✂ Love and Light ☺💐🌌 You Go Lady🤗

Thank you for this video. I'm totally operating at zzzz level.... Despite the fact that I moved from Croatia to Germany with my husband and pet in the midst of pandemic, started my small art business, and learning German. Last year I finally finished college at 31, got married to the kindest man in the world, started working on my PTSD issues...eventually had to stop going because of the pandemic. My point is...I'm doing so many things, and achieved so many things in past 2 years... But still I can't fight the feeling that I'm not doing enough and that I'm doing things wrong. That's the thought I wake up with every day and go to sleep with every day.... Hoping I can learn to change it. Will do my best to learn how to change that..... because it really isn't logical that I'm beating myself over silly things like shipping an item a couple days later, taking in consideration everything that's going on in the world and the fact that my epilepsy means shaky hands and art takes sooooo much longer to sculpt, and everything takes longer to do in these circumstances in general...Because of all the stress, ideas take longer to develop, not to mention sculpting all these ideas. I just wish I could think like that every single time anxiety comes knocking. Usually I just let the anxiety run through me. I think about what's the worst thing that can happen and just say "come at me bro" xD ....Then I see it really isn't the end of the world and it's all just in my head so to say. However, off course it comes back...so I'm running in circles.

because with all you do and accomplish, you can never conquer death from doing so - anxiety - the fear of the time when we will no longer be here - but we have eternal life through Jesus Christ. He will give us his glorious body and we will live forever in heaven, because he conquered death and hell for us, if we accept him as our Lord and Savior whom God sent to us to deliver us from this temporary carnal world. Turn to Christ.

@Bachconcertos Whitney I'm not afraid of dying, I've been there already. And I'm certainly not trying to conquer death. My issues lie elsewhere....and I'm not dragging buddy Jesus into this story. But thanks anyway.

I love you Mel Robins, its like, wow! You are like me, I mean like a better version hahaha. I love to teach and I am so inspiring to others and to others I guess I am a bit like you. I hope this does not sound really arrogant. But privately I am a mess. I mean I know it all. I know what to do, and outwardly I am do amazing stuff I guess. I just bought two young horses and am training them and people are going "you are always so courageous, moving between countries, learning new languages and following your dreams" and I am going like "how does this person even think I am that person?" I am a mess inside and searching without ever finding. I have a zillion hobbies and way too much going on in my head. My grandma used to say "honey your problem may be that you are good at everything, its good but what you have to do is CHOSE ONE THING" and I just turned 40 and I am still figuring it out.....Do you have any idea what I can do to focus on one thing and not be so splattered all over the place?

Having gone to therapy for years, what Mel is saying is accurate and what you learn in cognitive behavioral therapy, currently the brand of counseling with the highest efficacy. That said, if you find that you cannot either maintain stability in your emotional state (oscillating between happy and sad, impulsive to anxious and withdrawn, etc) or are stuck below an acceptable baseline (always sad, always anxious, etc) you should see a psychiatrist (an MD) to talk about medication. They have improved drastically. The way I knew I was chemically depressed was that even if I was feeling content and stable, I had no ability to focus my attention on something, a hallmark symptom of depression and anxiety. Yes, mental issues like this can sometimes be solved just by consciously reorganizing your thoughts and controlling your behavior (and diet, always be considering that) sometimes they can't and only an MD who has seen probably thousands of patients will be able to tell if medication is working. Seriously they talk to you for five minutes and can tell.

My energy and my confidence I feel old but that shouldn't make any difference enthusiasm is the key I feel that we have all lost this Focus that life is great and should be happy and healthy in the things around us should be healthy and free it seems there is a some evil power that is trying to cage our minds and our spirits and make us and the animals around us sick light my fire so i can vent information and help ulight up others so we can move this mountain together break our chains and come together to remove the cause of this destruction the light within gets stonger when we raise our frequency our light our good god within us Help us free our souls thanku lovelovelove ps have u ever said oh well if only i could change the world. In detail, I notice, describe in detail what I notice and feel my body in experiencing the particular sense. Hahahahaha, many of us said 2020 was going to be our year feeling nothing but positive energy talk about epic, now it is being said 2121 is the epic year, hahahahahaha, too funny! Love me, love to all! I choose to live in the moment and not even try to predict a new year and if we have not learned this by now, oh boy, we are in trouble. Live in the moment, I choose to be the light in every moment, therefore the moment that just flew by it is gone, the moment yet to happen I embrace it in nothing but love by living in this moment, moment moment....

My yorkie is sooo long too, and jumps around from couch to couch, and sits on highest point possible wherever she is. I wonder if she has some cat in her.
