The power supply can be shifted vertically, but with an SFX-L unit the 125mm dimension may limit using that feature. Also, the PS could be rotated so that its fan faces the GPU to receive its flow-through air.

I'm using the same CPU which is 5900xt, I tried 3 air coolers from Nuctua, NH-L9a, NH-L9X65 and NH-L12 ghost. NH-L9a is the most nice looking one but can hardly cool down 5900xt, eventually I keep the NH-L12 ghost and adding a 120mmx15mm fan underneath the case blowing upward to the CPU to get a decent thermal condition and noise level. I don't know if 7000 series CPU has a better temperature performance with AM5 platform. Anyways, thanks for the great content, and Terra is such a beauty.

I generally like the Fractal cases, and this one looks good with the walnut panel near the base. It is a smaller case and a bit pricey, although that's been the trend over the past couple of years.

@@wificannibal9704 the Dan case is pretty good, giving you the ability to water cool the CPU. The formd t1 is very flexible and a bit smaller, water cooling is an option but a bit more harder to implement. The temps are really good if done properly. I would choose the Dan case just because it's easier and cheaper to build in it

One thing I know from owning a Ghost S1 is that if you use a SFX-L PSU you aren't going to be able to use a bottom fan. It would also be nice if all PSU manufacturers had the PSU socket orientation the same way.

Thanks for the review! I am wondering if by any means it might be possible to use a watercooled card. The problem is the fill port is always on the side - in my case the cards width os 158mm. So is it possible to move the GPU bracket to a lower position (i don't need a cooler down there) so that the card can be wider?

84 degree's after a 60 minute stress test on that cpu/cooler combo looks well off to me. Especially in that case with no fans.

Great looking case but has some major issues. The lay out is the same as the Lian Li Q58. Yes the Terra lets you adjust for GPU width but there really is no options for cooling. I own the Lian Li Q58 and added the optional mesh side panels all the way around which gives me great thermals with a bottom slim fan and a 240mm AIO. All I can see going for the Fractal Design Terra is a front piece of wood with very little options for cooling. I do love the look off the Terra but there are too many limitations for a high performance ITX build. I'll pass on this one.

I agree to a certain extent, you will run into issue trying to use this for a super high end gaming rig for sure. But there are some of us that use ITX for purposes other than gaming which it is ideal for.

@@jamesdawson8323 Realistically being a Mini ITX proponent it would be the perfect case for light gaming and home office use. With the right components (65 watt Raptor Lake and a RTX 4070) it would be the perfect dual purpose ITX PC. Unfortunately my daughter has a Birthday coming up next month and wants the green Terra for her first ITX build. It's time to think about building simplicity and normal function instead of going overkill.

The NR200 is about 75% larger, so of course it is. The C4 is good if you like air cooling, the A4 H20 is even better, and smaller than the C4, and almost as large as the Terra
