I know it's pointless to comment under these reactions since you're probably weeks later already, but I'll do it anyway. I wanted to comment about how important it is for these so called 3rd years to perform at least once. Because of japanese work culture, they're very likely to never touch a volleyball ever again once they get out of the last tourney of their 3rd year. Unless they're really good enough to get into a uni team or go pro, they have to drop this "hobby" and "get serious", working for their exams and thinking about their future

Watching this now, I just realized that Kuroko and Hinata are literally oppsites. One attracts all the attentionto shine while the rest of the time kinda works behind the light, while Kuroko is the shadow that makes the team shine even more

just so you know VB is way more batshit irl than depicted in any medium anyway, ever. and Haikyuu is the most accurate and realistic sports show ever. anywhere, any era, any medium. there's no other sports tv show that reaches its height. especially nothing live action. the irl version of these characters are even more monstrous. Iran's setter, Marouf and Brazil's Bruno, top 5 setters in the world, are the Kageyamas of irl VB. Japan's Nishida is Ushijima of Haikyuu. Erik Shoji, US' libero is often compared to Nishinoya.
