I don't think this is a spoiler or something but Souei might be the only one that had something like "Special phone number" or something. And no one (and I mean no one. Even if you're the most powerful being in existence) can infiltrate that communication line. That's because Rimuru and Souei had the thread connected to each other back in the past episode that hasn't been cut (or will ever I guess?) And even after evolution, that invisible thread still is connected to Souei and Rimuru. So Souei could know anything Rimuru could ask him even before Rimuru could actually asking him. (Most effective on solo missions).

I need to keep reiterating this while I try not to spoil things: When Milim said that she was holding back and restrainer herself -- she actually meant it. What you see here is only about 25% of her actual strength/power. There is a reason why her moniker is "The Destroyer" and why she is one the oldest and strongest Demon Lords with authority and freedom on par with Guy Crimson. It would be like a Blue Whale desperately trying not to crush an Ant. So yes, Milim is a good girl who, more or less, is on her bestest behavior.

The anime doesn't explain it so I suppose I'll share the characters evolutions and gifts except the ones the anime does bother to explain. The first thing I should explain is the Oni evolutionary line since its important: Goblin -> Hobgoblin or Goblina -> Ogre or Death Oni (only for Hobgoblins that have experienced death) -> Kijin (only from Ogres) -> Mystic Oni (also called Fair Oni depending on translation) or Wicked Oni (also called Evil Oni depending on translation). The last evolutionary step is a spoiler. A number of Hobgoblins evolved into Ogres. The Kijin, with the exception of Shion, evolved into Mystic Oni. Mystic Oni are the result of Kijin fully returning to their ancestral roots as Elemental Spirits, making them Spiritual Lifeforms similar to Dryads or incarnated Archdemons. This was a huge event in Shions life and her character growth. Before she thought that strength is all that matters and in her mind looked down on people weaker than her. When she died she was afraid that she'd be tossed aside as weak and useless but after seeing what Rimuru did to bring her back and seeing that he'd never cast her away her outlook in life changed. She realized that she doesn't need to compete with others (though she still does at times, especially with Diablo) to get affection and care from her beloved lord and master. She just needs to focus on getting stronger for her own good. We see her growth later down the line in LN 11.

So, veldora is in human form because his kind a 'true dragon' is a spiritual being. it is elaborated more on the manga and LN in which they actually chatted after release before giving him a human form. anyway back on the spiritual being, they naturally don't have a physical body. they can make or inhabit one but are naturally just a spirit. an example is diablo who is a demon a kind of spiritual being. spiritual beings can't live long in the material world because their magicules leaks out, that's why they need a body. diablo got his from the corpses of the falmuth army. Also, spiritual beings reincarnate once they die; some take hundreds of years but will eventually return. although their past memories may be hazy and they might have a different personality than their previous lives. veldora in season 1 made a body of his own, but because of the seal he still leaks magicules that's why he'll eventually die. once inside rimuru's stomach Veldora dissolve his physical body since the magicules can't escape from the stomach. so rimuru gave him a new body so that he can inhabit it and live in the material world. this could also be interpret so it is much easier for him to wander around. the reincarnating once they die also shows why veldora doesn't care in season 1 if he died saying its not a big deal.

The Milim he fought is a lot weaker because she had to lower her defenses and keep restraining herself so it would look like Clayman was able to control her. If she didn't his spell wouldn't even look like it worked on her because her defense is so high. If Carrion only knew that Milim is probably at least 100 times(honestly its probably closer to 200, at least in magicule quantity) stronger than him now he wouldn't talk so big. Sure he's a demon lord but thats a title while Milim is a true demon lord which is an evolutionary step. Her, Guy and Dagruell are in a league of their own. Luminus, Deno and Leon are also about 10 times stronger than Carrion.
