The hijack certainly went for several hours and obviously, the hijackers were "humane" (as it's primarily defined) enough to allow catering in between - just to avoid the angst of yearnings of starving hostages (read passengers) for whom, the very convenient-mode of shooting would shrink their leverage by each and every passing, irreversible impulsive-reaction. So obviously, giving the hostages the less reasonable excuse to cause a commotion would surely help them at the end. They were far-sighted in this case, like Adolf! And it could be also that some of them were temperamental, trigger-happy petulant nutcase so it was better to avoid the scenarios to let them engage in some eventual self-destructive impulses, too. You need a detailed psych-eval for that?

Just finish watching this film , I normally don't get emotional, but this film I cried at the end 🙁 I never cried so hard in my life. Neerja Bhanot really gave new meaning to the term bravery, she was truly a hero and a beautiful person with a heart of gold, I'm getting teary eyed just writing this message. When I hear the song Candle In The Wind by Elton John, I start thinking of Neerja Bhanot, there is one thing she taught us and it is life is precious, live it everyday the best you can. To me Neerja Bhanot represents what a true hero is, she was willing to sacrifice herself to save others, I'll say this, if there is a heaven I guarantee you thats where Neerja is, shes up there saving somebody whos in distress, and I bet as soon as she walk through heaven's door, she got her wings right there.

Pellicola davvero stupenda basata sulla vera storia della coraggiosa commissario di bordo di volo Neerja Bhanot e del dirottamento del volo Pan Am 73 avvenuto il 5 settembre 1986, sceneggiatura solida e commovente, ci sono degli errori come il fatto che Quando il 747 è sulla pista di Karachi, mentre uno dei dirottatori corre su per le scale aeree, sono visibili 9 finestrini della cabina superiore di prima classe. I Pan Am 747 avevano solo una fila di tre finestre nella cabina superiore di prima classe, quindi davvero stupenda e davvero stupenda per me come valutazione è 8,5.
