@@NeffertityI want to try to attempt adding padding to a oversized onesie I wonder if you can make a tutorial on how to? Or attempt it?
@Neffertity10 ай бұрын
@bobatiger I personally wouldn't recommend that. Onsies are often made of fleece, and are designed to trap heat to keep you warm. Adding more padding on top of that would not only be very difficult, but would also put your health at risk with how much heat it would trap. Especially if this is for a child, whos body cannot properly regulate heat.

I never, ever, ever comment under YT videos but I just wanted to say THANK YOU for this video; if I could give it 10 likes I would haha. Using stuffing as padding like that instead of custom-shaped "pillows" in the legs is 1000% the method I will be going for now, I didn't even think of that. I know probably not a method you "came up with" but you definitely have it down. By the way, the bodysuit blew me away. You nailed those gradients. Super clean and beautiful work. hello neffy! :))) i just wanna say thank you for being my absolute biggest inspiration throughout my years in the furry fandom! and also thanks for making this tutorial i was completely LOST on how to make padding. I also have a question. How does the padding container thingy cooperate with the suit? As in do you just turn it inside out and stuff it there because wouldn't it get kind of wrinkly? And couldn't you have just used the pattern of the actual leg on the DTD and sewn it on from the inside?
@Neffertity10 ай бұрын
I'm so happy I can be a positive influence! As for thr padding, the inside does get a little bit of a wrinkly shape to it, but it tends to conform to the wearer over time. The main reason why I allow thst much slack too, is so thst in the event the person either looses a bunch of weight or gains it, you can stuff or unstuff the legs as needed. And they should still hug your leg nicely. ^_^

Firstly, if you used the air dry clay that comes in the round container, unfortunately there isn't much you can do. That clay is paper based. And will always crack as it dries. You can try patching it with epoxy sculpt, and sanding it down, but if it's already too thick on the mask it will continue cracking. I recommend using Model Magic clay for any lightweight shape modifications.
