Today I graduated from highschool. I found this video a few days ago, and I felt it was the perfect one to just sit and listen to, while remembering the past all the way up to this point. I remember being at my lowest point on January because I genuinely believed I wouldn't succeed. I wouldn't be able to party with friends without always knowing the fact that I never finished strong this year. But somehow I did. I gained enough courage to start asking for more help, even if I have my own issues with socializing. Even if there was some alternative world where I failed, I'm sure I would be absolutely ashamed for not pushing hard enough. But truthfully, that doesn't mean my journey would end. No matter what, there's always another chance to try harder and succeed in what you previously failed on. Don't ever feel the need to give up. Learn from those mistakes and place your efforts harder the next time. To anyone who couldn't reach success the first time, wherever you are, I give my sincerest hopes to you. Hey, I'm going through highschool right now, graduating by the end of this year. The reason I'm commenting is because I wanted to tell you, I don't know the pain that might've came with hitting rock bottom, but I know the pain I felt. I had been depressed for 3-4 years. Grade 10, I was planning on ending it, grade 11 is when I got serious about that. I was at the worst I've ever been. But the entire time I wanted to end it all, there was always a voice that told me to get up, and keep going. I always listened to it, because it was just so reassuring. It felt like it was saying "the worst may be here, but so am I". I later learned that this was Jesus. Now, you can roll your eyes at this, you can decide to stop reading and just get back to the song, or you can choose to keep reading. But I promise you, this all happened. God later saved me from myself and the hands of the enemy. I haven't been depressed in almost a year, I've found value and a purpose in my life, I haven't wanted to commit in almost a year, I have a friend, a Father, God. He's there, arms open wide, ready to embrace you the minute you want Him. Please, turn to Him. I promise you, if you call out to Him, He'll answer you. Trust me.

I miss the times when this first came out and I never really thought much of it at the time until a few weeks ago it popped up on my mind I really miss the times of when I used to have a great time playing call of duty and seeing those ghost edits, or snowy days. I miss that and for some reason I crave that feeling of having it back.

Because regardless of how you feel, or how much you feel your purpose here is non-existent; your younger and innocently unaware self will forgive you for still having the will to keep trying to figure out the answer to your emptiness. I have yet to find the answer to my own. But that doesn’t mean I won’t. Our average life expectancy gives us that precious chance to keep trying. And until my time is up? I am going to fight myself out of this void, one way or the other. And so should you. ❤

I know. Life was a total mess for me, I know what that's like. Maybe not exactly what it was like for you. But I know that it sucks. About almost a year ago, I wanted to end it all, I was actually planning it. I was so ready. But every time that I thought about it, there was always a voice that told me "keep going, don't give up.". Later I had learned that this was God. I found Jesus after 3-4 years of depression, and I have never been better. God saved me from my old life, and gave me a new one. He loves me, and He loves you just as much.
