Neighbors of 'Home Alone' house share behind-the-scenes video of iconic movie 30 years after its rel

Almost 30 years ago, a Hollywood film crew made a funny little film about a boy who was accidentally left behind when his family takes off for a European Christmas vacation. Since its release in 1990, "Home Alone" as withstood the test of time. And decades late, the public's love for the film and all things related to it is stronger than ever.

Yeah maybe they were on vacation during the filming of the sequel. Also only a small portion of HA2 was filmed in Winnetka while the rest was filmed in New York and LA.

Why tf would you buy the home alone house if you don’t embrace the fact it’s an historic house that ppl will want to come take pictures in front of? They literally put up a black fence around the house. A bunch of grinches.

The people that they said that lived there that are uninterested with the movie an the fans. I don’t understand why they live there. Like if you know it’s a famous house that everybody loves an wants to be near. Why not just be happy an more welcoming about it or just live somewhere else? Because if they liked the movie like everybody does I’m sure they would be more welcoming. But if not then why not just live somewhere else?

They built a replica house in a gym for the flooding scene ,its on netflix the movies that made us

The elderly couples house was directly across the street, murphy's house (the one that the bandits flooded) was right next door.

Yea, i was just there today since i live 30 minutes away. I was super quick since the residents were outside. I didnt want to upset them. It doesnt seem like they're big fans of people taking pictures. Theres cameras all along outside. The driveway is different.
