I commented at the Neil Diamond Central post of "Suzanne" that I am a lifelong fan of Neil's. Carmelita's Eyes is a favorite and came before many other 'pop' artists began doing songs in Spanish-the video is captivating as well. But let me define life long- I will soon be 56, and I can remember being very young when my sister came home and played her new album "The Feel of Neil Diamond" on our portable record player-I was captivated by his vocal power and have listened ever since.

Pertenezco a un club de seguidores españoles de Neil, que lo seguimos a los conciertos que realiza por Europa ... los ultimos junio 2008 Dublin (Irlanda), julio 2011 dos conciertos en O2 de Londres, julio 2015 otros dos conciertos en O2 de Londres. Somos de toda España ... Canarias, La Coruña, Burgos, Madrid, Santander, Valladolid, Barcelona, etc. y nos juntamos expresamente para asistir y extasiarnos con sus conciertos. A pesar, como usted dice de no actuar en directo en ningún concierto en España, sólo en TVE, esa visita de 1974 dejó huella en casi todos los que amamos la música de Neil Diamond.
