Everyone should watch this scene and then watch the funeral scene when the trio meet again. You can clearly see Carl take the most drastic change in appearance compared to the other two. He’s more gaunt and there are dark bags under his eyes. He wasn’t kidding when he said he had to make tough choices everyday.

I wish they would have gave Carl more screen time. His character having ESP made him interesting. Also Neil Patrick Harris is a good actor.

I love how the teacher here is compassionate and does not raise his voice when he makes a point to call someone out. He's very confident but not arrogant he wants his students to think for themselves but also understand why they think that way. Its no wonder he became an amazing LT. The way he used his disabled arm as a primary to point and gesture with authority said a lot about his character not allowing his disability to limit him in anyway. Great acting and character writing.

Interesting how he psychically influences the Ferret to attack his mom, just how the brainbug does later in the film.

I felt that Carmen always lead Rico on throughout their relationship. Even left him hanging and sent him the future equivalent of a text message to break up with him. She really sucks as a character.
