I will always love Neil’s music, but my favorites are the love songs he wrote for her. So sad, but she lives on in those songs.

Mr Young is just all around an awesome human being. Founding member of Farm Aid,his long-term commitment to what's just right. I was lucky enough to accidentally find the first Bridge Benefit disc. My son is nonverbal autistic and the kids in chairs gave me interest in √ing it out and it just blew me apart. Lofgren doing Believe, Chapman's addition, Costello's kickass Alison and Ann & Nancy doing a Zep. tune... WOW! Pegi and Neil's Bridge School, another beautiful project by a truly beautiful couple. I think Mr Young is the epitome of what almost all celebrities are not. Truly decent.

Exactly, Hal. R. Mr. Neil Young did not have to have a "benefit" of any kind to fund that special needs school that was for the benefit of his own child? Peggy started the school and it always made me think the benefit was because he wouldn't put up the money. His first wife, Carrie Snodgrass, had a special needs child with him just like Peggy and he abandoned Carrie and his first child until she had to take him to court just to get the minimum amount of child support. Left her and his son on welfare in Southern California! What kind of selfish person does this, and keeps having children with physically inherited genetic problems, when Young suffers from epilepsy himself? Why not think about NOT having any more children since you are passing on serious problems? And then to leave Peggy after almost 40 years together? How can anyone admire a self-centered "rock star" like this? Makes me sick. He did this to every female he was ever with, not just these two. Girlfriends of mine "back in the day" suffered just like his wives did. Very wrong and nothing right about it.
