Neisha just said yesterday in a private live, that she cycles in an out of Carnivore for specific reasons but that she is NOT a Carnivore. Within the PHD spectrum, she is Ketovore or animal based. 😉👍

Glad Neisha didn’t take the Celexa, terrible stuff, didn’t work & I thought I was going to have a heart attack as I couldn’t seem to get energy in my leg muscles when I was cycling, weird visual disturbances too. And why prescribe an antidepressant when the patient isn’t depressed! They did that with me too on another occasion, somehow it was supposed to treat muscle spasms! Umm ok!

Happiest day of my 13 month carnivore journey was just 3weeks ago, it wasnt the amazing body sculpting effects, it wasn't the migrain, arteritis, gum disease, iron and B12 deficiency or any thing else that has disappeared. I was sitting on the sofa at 8 o'clock at night and my 21 yearold, depressed, marddy, sulking slightly over weight son walked in the living room and asked "okay how does this diet of yours work?" I sent him off to watch you tube (because they never take information from their mum as truth) he had already started pinching my steaks(2 at a time)😁 Thank you guys for being somewhere I could send my son, along with Dr Berry, Kent Carnivore and everyone else on here. I have lived with the fear of suicide in my life for 5 years and over night it has gone, my son is back and is the chatty, outgoing, fun lad he was before puberty and carbs stole him from me. 🥰🥰🥰 ❤️🥩❤️🥓❤️🥩❤️

I don’t understand why economics are so often discussed? For me carnivore comes with a lower grocery bill. My refrigerator is almost empty. The cost of all the condiments and additives used to make junk food palatable is more than the cost of a PHD.

I wish that my way of eating was cheaper like it seems to be when people are based in the US. That said, health is worth it.
@carlosipec2270
@carlosipec2270 8 ай бұрын
The health is surely worth. But costs are obviously a detail of high interest. Because the general perception, mine also, was that it would be ridiculously expensive. On a personal level, prime meat cuts are not on my first choice precisely for cost reasons. Picanha all day long would be nice but... Oh! Well. ;-) Although it's worth mention that with some care. It's perfectly possible to do a rather decent carnivore diet without breaking the bank.
@markwestphalen6008
@markwestphalen6008 8 ай бұрын
Carlo, my experience is prime cuts are cheaper than a bad diet. I never eat three meals a day, mostly OMAD as I’m just not hungry. So if I eat a $10 ribeye that’s a day. I don’t believe anyone on a bad diet can squeak by on $10, maybe rice & beans. I threw out everything in my refrigerator. It now has today’s meal defrosted, tomorrow’s meal defrosting, ghee and free range duck eggs. Yes ribeye is expensive but I don’t think people take all of the items required to make a bad diet into account.

I love her thoughts on what she eats. People are too dogmatic and cultish. My friends think I’m in a food cult. I’m not trying to convert anyone and I don’t really care that much what anyone else is eating. I don’t speak about it unless asked. I’ve eaten carnivore almost a year and love it. I still eat pistachios. I eat seasonings. Some onions from time to time. Pickles. Small amount of cheese. Coffee. My diet is my diet and perfect for me. I just do best on this diet I created for myself. I’ve slowly increased my fat and my body has adjusted and I feel better. I’m off all medication and hormone replacement and lost over 30 pounds.

I'm 72yo, diagnosed with choroid melanoma 4 yrs ago. Lesion zapped with laser, but doc warned me that metastasis was still a possibility resulting in death within 4 months. When I learned of carnivore and the effect of ketones on cancer cells, I jumped in full force, strict carnivore. I've been carnivore for 42 days and have experienced weight loss (I needed it), increased energy, better memory and all-around good health. When Neisha spoke of having a good reason to stay on carnivore, it struck a chord with me.

I was diagnosed with low thyroid and hashimotos in my 40s. I insisted on natural thyroid and it took 2yrs to find my dosage. Its okay. Like Neisha, I just wasn't myself and stress wasn't a good enough excuse. The brain fog was the worst. I just decided one day to try carnivore. It was easier than I thought and in 2-3 DAYS, I already felt AMAZING! A week later, I was tackling projects that had been dragging on for years. I finally started feeling like my body and my mind were MINE again. I'm only 30 days in, but I'm terrified of going back to that disconnected and depressed existence! This diet is simple and satisfying. So easy!

OMG! What was said about her reaction to greens is EXACTLY what happened to me when I tried to have a salad that had broccoli and red cabbage in it. I used Primal Kitchen dressing so I know it wasn’t that. It had to be the cruciferous vegetables. I got so bloated and had such massive gas pressure in my pelvic area. I had muscle and joint aches and pain and hot and cold like the flu. Needless to say I’m NEVER having cruciferous vegetables again.

My doctor thought the same thing about me when I was undiagnosed with Addison's Disease. Others with that condition also go through that. It took me doing my own research to talk my doctor into doing the blood work. I felt vindicated when I finally knew what was wrong with me. So many people telling me I was depressed, etc., based on things happening in my life at that time. You are right, you have to be your own advocate. This is my second go round with Carnivore and I can attest to how important eating enough fat and eliminating dairy contributes to a successful transition. The first time I tried it, I did feel awful! Low energy, heart palpitations etc. This time, my reason for starting was not to lose weight (although I will not be mad to lose a few pounds!) but to heal an ongoing issue with abdominal pain, low gallbladder function and low thyroid function. I’m almost 47 and definitely in perimenopause. It’s been so much easier this time and I feel good eating 1g protein/pound of ideal body weight and almost 180g of fat. Also using LMNT and iodine and magnesium daily. The GoCarnivore app has been so helpful!! Feeling better everyday and will continue for at least 90 days.

Amen, Sister! “Even if the labs say your fine, keep digging. Keep researching. “ I was not feeling well after getting C. I felt faint, panicked, weak, my blood pressure was high and it’s usually on the low side, geez, what else? A lot more. I asked my naturopathic physician to run labs. She was hesitant, yet agreed. She wanted to run brain labs to see if I had anxiety or panic issues. I knew that I didn’t. I agreed anyway bc I wanted my labs run. My brain labs showed normal functioning. My other labs showed all kinds of markers indicating autoimmunity. What comes next was a blessing. I fired her. I went to a different naturopath and told him my symptoms. He knew exactly what was wrong without seeing my labs. Then I showed him the labs. It was all right there in black and white. So, yes! Keep on digging! Be your own advocate! I knew something was wrong and not all in my head. If you feel off, trust your gut! Keep searching, friends. God bless all of you.🙏🏻

I went through all of that for years. Even after taking levothyroxine for decades I was still struggling. I had no idea that my diet was destroying my body. Also being a single mom to special needs twin boys was also overwhelming.

Yet another wonderful interview Rina, combined with excellent answers, that confirms what I've been telling people as I get questions in conversations I've had talking about the Proper Human Diet. Rina, there are interviewers that begin by telling everyone all THEY know instead of hearing from the guest. You, on the other hand listen sooo well and ask really good questions based on what you've heard. I asked my husband, when I was a Host on QVC and wanted to be a better interviewer, how to do that. He said in order to be interesting, you need to be interested. You're the poster child for that concept. Great job... and like I said, GREAT ANSWERS, Neisha!

Cutting carbs was easy for me..wheat (breads) even easier. I look back at pictures of my face (before and after keto)..wow..a huge change. I took baby steps..mid 2021..a wonderful journey..Yes, there are days where I am stressed, and I slip up. I’m human..but, I get back in the wagon and move forward. I’m 61, and many think I’m 40’ish.

Yep! 100% on that. When talking carnivore, I use one word. MIRACLE! I can totally and absolutely relate with her testimony. Brest implants aside. LOL 🙂She seem to be talking about me a 55 years old guy. I also hit rock bottom. I was literally dying, full of pains, the brain went somewhere else (without me), etc. To the point I put my "papers" in order. And talked with my daughter to explain a few things, for after I was gone! It was that serious. OMAD and Keto definitely saved me. Thank you Dr. Fung, Berg, Ekberg, etc. Useless to say my regular MD, that follow me for years. Was as useful as a paper weight on a computer. He was as lost as me. And I really mean clueless! Until today not even one word of orientation, incentive, etc. Anything other than threat me with more pills and injections! Meanwhile I'm a newbie carnivore. I honestly can't explain on a YT comment how amazing it is. I reiterate a MIRACLE! 🙂

As a retired nurse practitioner I can second Neisha’s observation that MOST health care workers are NOT healthy and have horrible health habits. After observing an autopsy during nursing school where the pathologist stated “if he hadn’t smoked, he’d be alive” several students smoked their cigarettes IMMEDIATELY after as if nothing had been said…

When a family had hunted for meat, it wasn't a 4 pack of rib eye. Or 3pnds of chicken breasts. it was a chicken, One day the meat was fatty, one day the meat was lean. A boiled stew with some of the meat. Fermented foods. Even fermented rye and sourdough breads with the soups. Maybe some fruit and nuts on a long walk etc. Maybe there is so many gut problems because we make our Digestive system try to digest the full spectrum of foods everyday. I wonder if we should separate the types of foods each day. Meat only one day. Stew another, less fatty a particular day. Etc 44:31

I'm not crossing our beloved Dr. Ken Berry here, and I'm saying this with all the respect in the world. Neisha is probably the most beautiful woman in the world inside and out in every way, even her voice and character! She can talk about carrots or mosquitoes for 18 hours straight and I'd be all ears 😂 But now I'm enjoying listening to her journey so much and will share this video with my friends and employees. I'm only 14 minutes in.. Oh guess what, I'm listening to this while cooking my bacon on the stove the "Neisha & Ken way"! :) What a coincidence!

Oh my gosh when she talks about staying up late to get more “me” time - that is exactly what I have been doing. I know it’s not the best choice. And I don’t even have little kids. But late night is quiet, then sleeping in allows me to avoid everyone else’s morning chaos. Amazing to hear Neisha talk about that.

Might be the best capture of reason, and lack of the dogmatic and fanatical self labeling to a protocol, that dosen't imprison a person to sticking to something that isn't quite right , but Gives reason to go and seek a little further and find what is right!!!

My thyroid was removed completely. And with sluggish bowel movement or slow peristalsis and gut problems (polyps). Started carnivor, but after 8 days had to take fiberblend. Was totally blocked. And fat intake was in good ratio with prot. How do you know if the problem lies with the liver, gallbladder? Desperate for more information.
