I started low carb, high protein, high fat diet three weeks ago. The first change I saw was the weight loss, then my sleep improved tremendously. For years, I had been unable to get a goo night sleep. I was eating healthy but would never feel rested. Finally, I decided to give up most fruits and vegetables, and like a miracle, I started feeling much, much better. My brain actually feel pleasure in doing things again.

I drink a minimum of 8 cans of beer a day, every day. I don't think I have a fatty liver, as I avoid sugar like the plague, don't take any "medicines", and generally eat a low carb diet with lots of meat and non-starchy veg/fermented vegetables and leafy greens.

@ThePrimal.Podcast4 сағат бұрын
I would recommend you check where you get your information from. Refined sugars and carbs increase blood pressure through inflammation, oxidative stress and raising insulin too high. Bacon does not.

What about blue berries, kefir and kale drinks ??? Good for the liver ???
@hollybishop4845 сағат бұрын
I would think no on the kale because of the oxilates.
@AI-vs7sm5 сағат бұрын
Blueberries , I think, are fruit, which is fructose, which is what he is talking about here! Kale is carbs, juicing concentrates those carbs into ultra huge fructose dose ,so, its worse, its exactly what he is talking about in this video. Also, you need MORE salt, not less, at least 5 grams. And nitrates and nitrates , in bacon, is the same nitrates that is in veggies, NEEDED to generate nitric acid for artery dialation. Vegans like to say its good inveggies, but, of course, meat badddd!!!
@spanishpeaches29304 сағат бұрын

My concern with butter and bacon is the salt and the damage done to your kidneys.
@johnm20515 сағат бұрын
Well if you’re worried just don’t add salt that said I’ve read the body does well with 5 to 7 grams per day.
@andredaedone77325 сағат бұрын
Salt does not damage your kidneys. Salt is an electrolyte that your body needs unlike what the mainstream medical quacks tells you.
@hollybishop4845 сағат бұрын
Your body needs salt. Don't let that scare you. I eat unsalted butter but I have bacon, salt my food and drink 2-3 electrolytes a day and my levels are fine so far. That's just me, but take it for what it's worth.
@thegreenteam90955 сағат бұрын
What using pink himalayan salt?
@jonwelch5645 сағат бұрын
Get a blood pressure monitor. The body can control salt very well compared to sugar, both hold onto water, but the body can't get rid of excess sugar like it can salt. So if you stop the carbs, people report losing a lot of weight, this is the water getting peed out because you no longer have all the excess glucose holding onto it. If you eat 5 grams of salt, you will pee out 5 grams. If you eat too little salt your body will use insulin to hold onto it. And we all know what too much insulin does.
