Long-term fan of Ado and holy shit I was hyped when was in Japan during Ado x JR Rail Music Rally event in Hiroshima and Miyajima. Headed there ASAP from Osaka and pretty much biked through the entire city and took the tram to Miyajima on Day 1. Ado popularity is severely understated. Even on a random day, there were many fans next to the life-size cutout at the station and the limited stamp, at the ferry booth for the Ado clear file. There were promotional poster for her album at pretty much every music store. I went around to look for her merchs but it was sold out at all the stores I went to. The best thing I got was an Ashura-chan minifigure from a Gashapon machine in 2 tries kek.

I was listening to TK while working and came across Ado's song Usseewa somewhere towards the end of my shift. I really liked the song and a few days later, I was searching all over KZbin to find the song again (I use YT Music as I get distracted easily so It limits what I see making fewer distractions) and found Usseewa. listening to it again that day made me wanna find other songs but I never did. then I found God-ish by Ado. I never realized til today that Usseewa was her first original song, and for her first original and my first song i heard from her, it was very cool

I'm young, like, very young. I'm currently 12 and I have always had a love for music. I would be considered fairly "gifted" in music with a vocal range of just about 4 octaves and an ability to hit growl notes pretty well with no real training. My 3 problems? 1. I'm pretty damn ugly. 2. I have a low voice (okay, but really, I'm 12 and have a medium/low alto voice?) and 3. I have social anxiety. I wanted to be a singer but ignored it. And then when I was 11 I stumbled across Ado. Now, I was a Rin/Miku lover. I thought I had to sing high. I realized I can sing in the rock sections. I learned to scream and sing low. I'm learning more about music, but until then I'm working on learning to sing so I can make covers when I'm 13/14. I'm so happy I found Ado because I think I would've just never started singing if I hadn't found her.

The "highschool girl with deep voice" awkward moment in life is something I can relate to a lot. Usually when I speak to someone for the first time I speak with a higher tone than my natural low tone because people often feel intimidaded when this happens (and I notice this, unfortunately). But when I first heard Ado's voice when Usseewa blew up I was so happy to hear a japanese female singer with a deep voice becoming popular, it made me wish I was this brave to not be affraid of using my natural tone when speaking with strangers 😅 Thank you Ado❤

I found Ado thought a 96neko cover ironically, so there’s an utaite sandwich there lol. I love both in their own ways and their insane vocal ranges (although kurochan is more subdued and “mature” while Ado is more brazen).
