I think she looks awesome and I think the car mode is also very cool. Can’t wait to combine her with the rest of the junkions and hopefully Hasbro will make more of them.

I felt like yesterday was one of Hasbro’s most simple but effective streams to date, it was amazing! I definitely have my sights set on both the Armada Megatron and Optimus, Beachcomber and Dirge (PR). My one issue with the Megatron figure is that he comes with one accessory and nothing else, still looks like a boss figure though!

Okay so, BIG wall; I preordered that Armada Megatron immediately, and I'm doing the same for that Optimus once his preorders are online. Those two had the rawest final battle since G1 and between them and Starscream, i wish SO BADLY that Armada got more time dedicated to how they tick as characters. So even though I barely had figures from that era I have intense nostalgia from them. I do wish they had given him a combat knife to at least approximate his hidden blade feature. They also hinted that they're interested in making companion figures of Tidal Wave and Jetfire/Overload for him and Optimus by noting they did in fact give Megatron extra ports for some heretofore unknown combination for his Full Blast Mode. Hell, it'd be the only time a gimmick in this line would be worthy of the phrase "Evo-Fusion" since he's fusing with another figure, and Megatron even calls Full Blast Mode an "Evolution Transformation" in the show. As for Axlegrease riding with the Junkions, I'm assuming they just swapped her around after the art had been made to give the Decepticons some bare minimum placation like we saw in War for Cybertron. She looks choice as hell though, and the modularity does make me think they'll eventually make a Lockdown since his entire thing in Animated was that he was a frankensteined together muscle car that didn't care what was under the hood so long as it ran smooth. If they make him a Selects release they may even include extra bits to make him look more symmetrical or to further swap around with the other Junkions. Devcon is an interesting character because he occupies that same space as Jhiaxus did in my head of a character that I knew about, seemed to get decent respect and pull among fans but never really got a figure that was absolutely him. But whereas Jhiaxus was always a Seeker or Seeker-adjacent redeco and hit stores in Thrilling 30 as an orange Starscream with guns, poor Devcon didn't even make it to mass retail until just now. Glad to see he's finally made it though. I like that Nemesis Leo is still labeled as a Maximal because if I remember right, his entire thing was that he's not evil, just desperately self-absorbed since he thinks he's the actual Leo Prime but is more just a holomatter photo-copy. The Earthrise Seekers have their flaws, but I took a chance on the G2 Ramjet and the colors on that thing and the transformation were so stunning that I didn't care about the lack of a waist in a line where they seemed uncharacteristically determined to try and crowbar in _some_ bare minimum articulation standards no matter what the figure has to do (Granted I didn't have any of the classics seekers, so this being my first figure with that mechanical skeleton leaves a bit of bias). I might contemplate Dirge if only because I like his wing design more than Ramjet, but I'm also torn between him and Cloudcover. And now for Nemesis. When there was leaks that it'd be a girl, I was skeptical and figured Strika would be the biggest decepticon woman we'd get tied with the Megatronia combiner. But I am glad to be wrong, albeit disappointed they didn't try to make her look just a BIT more muscular to give the shoulders more room to breathe.

I think they'd have to be crazy at this point to not do Tidal wave, so honestly the Hinting thing didn't even click to me, because it's just in my head that it's going to happen without need of being hinted at. It could be that they made this as a last second change so the cons get at least some Junkion Love. I don't see them doing an Animated Lockdown out of this. At best it could be a Comic one, but the build of the character is NOTHING like his Animated version. No one actually cares about Devcon honestly. He's in like 1 quarter of 1 episode in season 3 of G1. Jhiaxus was at least the main villain of the G2 comic. Devcon is an absolute Nobody, that people are attached to because he has a cool job, but most people have never seen the little screen time he actually had. I think you are right about Lio Prime, but I never watched that show so I can't say for sure. See I feel the Exact opposite about the Transformation on the ER Seeker. I hate that process, it's just frustrating. I personally really enjoy Dirge as a character, but I just can't care about the Mold. I'm fine with her not being Muscular, even if I'm a Fan of that Build on Elita. I had no doubts it would be a woman, and we really need a New Strika.

Yeah the front skirt on Optimus in Super Mode is a weird choice, not sure if they had any other options though. I feel it would've been better if the front skirt was split down the middle and was two pieces but that would probably get in the way of the waist articulation since the rotating waist is placed under the skirt armor rather than on or above it.

@@PerspectiveEnd Well other than the noticeable seamline in the middle that is YMMV, the legs could get in the way when posing and limit waist rotation. For example there's a dynamic pose that requires rotating the waist to the right at a 45 degree angle and the right leg moved up along with the right part of the front skirt. That's great except the right leg would be in the way of the left part of the front skirt and rotation stops after that. It is honestly hard to explain with words alone but I think Hasbro's aiming for an unimpeded waist joint meant having to make the front skirt be one piece. We'll have to wait and see when it comes out though

I was honestly expecting Snarl to be revealed alongside Swoop and Skarr, since they got revealed almost a month ago, I think? But regardless, I'm cautiously optimistic about the finished Volcanicus. As for what I AM excited for, hell yeah The Nemesis! I'm concerned about her massive shoulder pylons and how eerily close they are to her chest, like she won't be able to move her arms out much if at all. Aside from that though, I'm really digging the "seeker-esque" kibble distribution, and that head sculpt is just beautiful. Last thing I'll say about The Nemesis is a really stupid joke my friends have made. Was the Nemesis pegging the Ark in the first episode of G1? I'm expecting other people will realize soon and we'll be subjected to some less than stellar fan-art of it.

Hasbro Pulse fanstream had some awesome reveals. -War Dawn Ariel and Dion. We know about them, but really like the top of the box that has Megatron, Shockwave, and Soundwave flying above them like in that G1 episode. -Core class Swoop and Scarr are neato. -Pacifist Beachcomber is cool. And the Paradise Parakeet is a nice touch to the Golden Lagoon episode. -Devcon looks great. Retool from Blurr to finally have his G1 cartoon character appearance. Some updates for what will come down the Transformers pipeline. Studio Series 86 Brawn sounds cool. Core class DOTM Bumblebee is neato. ROTB Rhinox and Optimus Prime sound interesting. -Gamer Edition War for Cybertron Cliffjumper and Megatron sounds awesome. Even more so that the Hasbro people on the fanstream confirm that Studio Series, slowly but surely, will go into the WFC DS game characters.

I have the same weird thing with Armada Megatron that you do with Beachcomber. In robot mode he absolutely looks like the giant badass leader that he is, but every time I see this picture of him 7:18 in tank mode it looks core class to me, and I don't know why. His tank mode was shown first and I was worried they were pulling a Studio Series Bumblebee movie Shockwave. I can not _wait_ to get my hands on Armada Megs and Optimus. I've said it before but all we need now is Red Alert, Cyclonus and Demolisher and we have the whole original cast, and I REALLY hope they do it.

I agree about Skarr. Swoop looks pretty good though I don't know I'll say Amazing yet. Man how was the last one in 2018. Yeah I was not expecting it to be such a heavy retool. I can't wait for Axelgrease. A weird number of people care about the ER mold for some reason. It's just more Boring Lio Prime. I'm so excited for both of these. Then again every Titan is better than the Ark.

It's nice to see another Decepticon Junkion since the only one we've had up until now was Detritus, a reclor of G1 Hound. The e-hobby figure were given two options of him being an Autobot or a Decepticon. Then there is the PCC Mudslinger redeco in the United EX sub-line where Detritus, now going under the name of Roadmaster, is a combiner and a Decepticon. And he's gone from military jeep to a monster truck. Also, more monster truck Transformers when since we haven't gotten any since the Mudslinger mold back in 2010?

Still, curse my completionism! And even if you _were_ to use the Siege Seekers for a complete cast display, the Coneheads unfortunately don't _have_ Siege versions!

They teased a few other upcoming figures as well. they apparently teased Tidal wave while showing off all Megatron's ports but more interestingly, they apparently teased a lot more "war dawn" figures of characters on the box, while specifically showing the part with Megatron and the Decepticons. If War dawn is going to be getting more figs for a while, I wonder how long until the Aereobots are getting a new figure, as Superion was always Menasor's rival... I wonder if they have the guts to sell Silverbolt as a Voyager with a slab of runway or something that becomes Superion...

There's a rumor floating around that Nemesis is going to be retooled into Tidal Wave. I don't know why because I really don't see it. I am hoping for a reveal of Bombshell in the next stream to finish up the Insecticons.
