unboxing Undelivered Mail & undelivered packages mystery boxes from tiktok's viral trend. This idea is that mail gets sent off and people can buy them individually or in auctions. The website I am buying from can clearly tell which packages come from cheap stores like Wish, so I'm guessing many of these items are fake.

The resell companies absolutely run the packages through an Xray. Don't buy undelivered mail unless you can buy it directly from a government auction.

I don't know if anyone else has said this, but if not, I would recommend not releasing any bugs that come from packages from other countries. Not sure where exactly in the US it's from and whether or not that would actually be an issue but just a general good rule of thumb to avoid introducing invasives.

Came here to say that ^^^ ... I have mad respect for Mr. Steve Beetle and his friends' life, but unfortunately, depending on where he's from, he may not belong in Canada 😬 invasive species can cause major environmental issues. The most humane way to dispose of them is to freeze them and then flush them down the toilet. Love you Jackie!!!!

I actually don't think it's for babies. The baby ones usually have arm holes and a Velcro wrap piece. No one is going to elastic around a baby's neck. I actually was wondering if it's just like a yoga mat cover and the "hat" is just a lid.

@@nfcapps it’s definitely for babies. These are for fresh newborns, usually used for photography It doesn’t go around their necks. You can look them up online and see them wrapped around the babies to get a better look. They’re called cocoon sack swaddles.

DO SEND everything you find that has identifyable address/names! It's so incredibly sad when mail is lost. I can't even imagine how much pain the Canadian practice of destroying unsent mail causes people. Selling it, there is at least a _tiny_ possibility that you'll get the thing you thought you lost forever.

If it has an address to mail it to, I don't think it's weird to mail it to them if you stick in a little note explaining what happened. I'd probably be ecstatic if someone did that for me, because sometimes places won't replace product and would have rather had the item than the refund.

Jackie I must say it is very commendable to put the bugs outside and all but you could be bringing an infestation into your home. Those packages could be full of bug eggs or larvae that you can't see and all of a sudden the two Steves won't seem so cute. LOL

@@GemzaStar09 I’m pretty sure those were a species called warehouse beetles. They’ve, unfortunately, long since been introduced over pretty much the whole world. Mostly you just don’t want them in your house because they eat any kind of dry foods like flour, cereals, dog/cat food, dry corn, oats, noodles, nuts, anything really. They’re the kind of bug that can turn in to an infestation quickly.

You should try finding an actual resale store! So then you can choose what feels good to you and not just get mailed random things. Some stores leave them in packaging but others i’ve seen actually open them first. I’ve seen videos of people finding quality goods in there. Check out Safia Nygaards channel for a pretty good example. You should check a store out!

If you get a package from another country and find a live bug in it, it's not really the best idea to set it free in a foreign ecosystem. Even if you have the same or similar bugs, just don't risk it. Bad idea.

I have to say that I find these boxes about lost mail incredibly interesting. Considering that I didn't know this was even a thing until your other video, makes me curious about stuff. Namely, 3 years ago, I had a special edition of a game that I preordered get lost in the mail for like, 3 months. I had written it off as a lost cause, and got a refund from the people I ordered it from because-obviously-it was out of stock cause it was a special edition, and used the refund money to buy a regular copy. All them months later, and it showed up at my place. Dunno what happened to it for all that time, but hey. Got the special edition for free. But seriously, to think that something like THIS could've happened to my package...

As a follow up... Yes, we do put babies in tubes XD It might be a sleep sack. Very young babies are used to being all curled up and they don't have good control over their limbs, so you swaddle them up in a tube to keep them from smacking themselves in the face and it can be very comforting for them to be swaddled up in a little baby loaf. As someone with dogs who are also jerks, I’d love to get my dog tag if it was a nice custom order. Tags get scratched, chewed on and lost, it’s never bad to have a back up. I’d much prefer to have my tag sent by some stranger, specially with an explanation as to how they came across it, than having it end up in the trash (where my address is still up for anyone to find anyways)

Send the dog tag to them! Just put a note in saying you got it in a box of undelivered mail. They'll have a story to tell, then. I dare say the bugs and grot are from the packages being warehoused and stored before the pickers even get to them. There must be piles of packages as big as hills. Also, do Canada recycle the packages they destroy? Not very ecological if they don't. I'd expect better from Canada. Think of the people it would help if they donated it to charities, to either give to people who need it or sell on to raise funds (just a sudden idea, there 😉)

I've never heard of this before your videos but where I live there is a very popular second hand store called Unclaimed Baggage that has been around for about 35 years or so and they dedicated a huge store to selling just that, unclaimed baggage. One really neat thing is in their entrance in a glass case is Hoggle from Labyrinth. The actual puppet.

I agree with you Jackie. I’ve been donating all our clothing to our local charities who give them away to those in need rather then someplace like goodwill that resells them.

Jackie, I have to say, I really love the swan shirt. My mom passed away 7yrs ago this month. Her favorite color was green and she had a HUGE collection of swans! She had her own restaurant and even had swan in the name! lol Anyways, thanks for another lively video. :D
