One of the greatest works of art humanity has ever produced.
I think I was 6 or 7 when this came out, I remember this game made me fascinated with learning about WWII.

I understand why the US and EU release was retitled to Bionic Commando. The original title is Hiter's Resurrection.
@NOMNOM817 жыл бұрын
Because the US and EU are filled with a bunch of politcally correct twats, who also (mostly US) want to shelter children from everything (so glad my parents didn't do that to me). Anything Nazi or anything with Christian imagery was always censored, because it was considered controversial lol

@Azure Knight Good thing they left Hitler's sprite totally intact on the ports still, along with his exploding head!

the best salvation to play the Japanese version was piracy, so I had contact with a pirated cartridge of the game of its Japanese version

@@rockymitsu Nope.I owned Famicom and Japanese cartridges were much accessible than NES ones in my country. There's also using an NES/Famicom emulator on PC.

@@bumbayker yes, I was wrong, I think I said it because it was easier for me, but yes, the Famicom cartridges are more accessible and cheaper

I used to play this when I was a little boy. Damn it was hard! Even by the standards back then!

But it's funny that back then as a kid you can beat them but now you can't lol

Loved this game as a kid, and it not only made me fascinated with WWII history, but it also inspired a little game I made with friends way back in high school. It took place in WWII era, alternate history, as George Washington was made a king, instead of president after the revolutionary war, so the United States as a royal family, with the King of England, later sending a daughter, to solidify the two nations. Because of advancements in technology, due to slavery being quickly abolished and dead after the revolutionary war, and the non existence of the Democrat party, technology has a very steam-punk vibe to it. You end up having to save the son of current king, who hid his identity to go off to war as a medic, wanting to help soldiers, after seeing injured people. Unfortunately he is captured, and you play a soldier, who was experimented on, to become more of a super soldier type, his mission is also the experiment, and he is also joined by a military engineer, specializing in steam tech of course, and a descendant of Booker T Washington. We had called the game, "Cogs of Conflict," as we were all playing Gears of War during the time, and thought it was funny, but it also fit with the Steampunk theme lol. Going to remake it, after the current project is done.
