The home port is underrated and arguably far superior to its arcade cousin. Metroidvania style gameplay and unique movement mechanics that were hard to master but extremely satisfying when you stuck the landings on a 3+ node swing perfectly. I might be highly nostalgic but this game is an absolute gem imo.

when i play this game i bullet farm in the first area just before the door to the boss in that big corrdor area up to six levels of engery at least depending on how i feel and then do the rest where that tower is on the area 5

I don't even know why Nintendo changed the imagery of this game when they had no problem with you fighting and beating up skinheads/Nazis in Brunwald Castle in Taito's Indiana Jones NES game. I mean, for the love of God, I saw a screenshot of Bionic Commando in one GameInformer issue, and even I could tell that "Master-D" was Hitler.

Also, they took out the stuff in Iron Tank, which is really dumb considering that's literally a game about D-Day.

At least they kept the look of HItler in the game. I understand why they took those things out but it's cool that you can play the unedited version as well. The translation was always really bad. "GET THE HECK OUT OF HERE YOU NERD!!"

wish we got this version in america, haha. I could get pretty far in the game, as a rental. Didn't beat it until emulation. Loved Rearmed, but the PS3 reboot about his wife was a little lackluster.

The reboot was actually pretty fun. I loved flying through the air with the claw but snipers had eagle eyes in that game
