Hello again! Just wanted to give you an update. I received the sparrow plush Friday and it is by far the best mattress I’ve tried. In the past couple years I’ve had at least a dozen different top brand supposedly soft hybrids and none worked except for the Casper nova which was tolerable. I had just about given up till I found your website and asked for your advice. I had a good feeling that this would be the one and it exceeded my expectations. It really is like a giant marshmallow but has good support and best of all it kept me cool which is #1 for me, nothing worse than sweating to death while you’re trying to sleep. Thank you again, I’m really grateful for your help.

I really cannot say for sure on that, I haven't tested the High Point Soft.

@@jamesbondbaugh1252 The Sparrow plush? Unlikely...there's just not much interest in that. Sealy High Point is on my list to test in the future, but most likely we'll be testing the medium version simply because there is more interest in that one.

Does the Energex polyfoam in the comfort layer have any of the “pushback” typically associated with latex?

To a moderate degree, yes, but it's not as extreme as natural latex. Energex feels like a cross between a nicer memory foam + natural latex.

Which one would you say is better Casper hybrid original mattress or sparrow hybrid plush?

Those are very different mattresses. Casper Hybrid Original is a more typical medium to medium-firm feel. Nest Bedding's Sparrow Plush has a very soft and plush feel. So it's really more of a question of...which firmness do you prefer?

Would you say the firm option. For 165 individual Would be great. I'm a stomach and back sleeper

The medium would probably also be fine at your weigh, but the firm is a good choice as well. Really it's more of a matter of what you prefer. 165 pounds gives you a greater degree of flexibility in the choice.

What do you prefer for a side sleeper. Saatva hybrid or sparrow hybrid plush. My parents are 5'6 and 5'2 and both weight under 150???

For most I would say the Saatva. The Sparrow plush version is VERY soft. You really need to need a plush / soft mattress to be comfortable at that firmness. If your parents say they are looking for something very / extremely soft then I'd say the Sparrow is the better option.

Is the plush model softer than the Helix Luxe Sunset? I’m looking for the softest mattress possible. I’ve had a Nolah Signature 12” for 4 years but I need more pressure relief for my shoulders.

Sparrow in the soft / plush version is slightly softer than the Helix Sunset Luxe.

I have a Casper Nova Hybrid which I’ve slept on for a year but it’s not as soft as I wanted. Is the Helix Sunset softer or if you can recommend a very soft hybrid? Thank you

Helix Sunset is going to be moderately softer than the Casper Nova Hybrid. Casper Nova is a 5 out of 10 firmness. Helix Sunset is a 4 out of 10. Nest Bedding Sparrow soft / plush version is a 3.5. Amerisleep AS5 / AS5 Hybrid is another good soft option, it's a a 3.5-4. Novosobed soft is a 4. Winkbed's softer version is a 4. Saatva's Classic soft / plush version is a 4. @@NapLabReviewsAfter research on the other beds you mentioned, I’ve decided I’m going with the Sparrow Plush since the foam layer can be switched which is a very unique feature. Once again, I appreciate your help. Your website and videos are the best out of all the mattress reviewers out there, you going into every little detail that I would never think of. I especially like your short bounce and sink test with the ball, that helps a lot since I want to sink a bit into my mattress!
