20:40 hanging lamps for sure . Being the older sister of 2 younger , very active boys, i definitely recommend making everything - you don't want your son to be touching - as out of reach as possible. That goes for the toddler Era of course, that the baby tends to explore everything without the understanding of what's dangerous and what's not. Also for the door of the small bookcase , make sure it doesn't slide when he leans on it as he starts walking

Painting the stars a bright yellow was a really smart decision! I think pastel colours also fall into the beige mum category haha, so that pop of yellow is really pretty! Some colourful stimuli for the child💛 loved your video once again

i'm seventeen and have not yearned for a child of my own for multiple years as a consequence of growing up in a unstable family, which has caused me to not want children in case I push my own experiences from the parenting i received unconciously onto my child.However, for these past couple of months of watching you through your pregnancy, i have constantly been bought to tears because of the pure love and care you hold, and i'm sososooooo thankful that parents like you exist in our world. I can tell even before your baby boy has been born that he'll be one of the happiest children alive because he has the most wonderful parents and in some sense seeing how positive you are, i'm almost being influenced into wanting a child in the furtue. I'm still super young so not any time soon but nonetheless i have no doubt in these coming years as we get to watch you be a beautiful mother my decision may change.I wish you the best sissel, truly

I love it! I love the saturn rug and absolutely think you should layer it with the other rug. I like the idea of the green curtains, but a soft yellow would be nice as well. The hanging lamp is just safer and gives you the entire top of the cabinet to place things on. I can't wait until you bring him home and stand in his room with him! Well done as usual Sissel.

Omggg love this so much! I think the strong green for curtains is a good idea partially for the darkness (I know you're getting blackout curtains but I mean for contrast) and also because it's your favourite and honestly just coming in and looking at pretty green curtains is such a comfort I think. Also being said, if you don't hate the curtains you currently have, dyeing curtains is extremely easy and affordable :) But either way that's my take!! Love the saturn theme and how much you're both mindful about keeping each other in mind

Decalmile vinyl wall decals on Amazon have been how I avoid being a beige mom in my nursery. My daughter has an under sea mermaid room and my son has a jungle room with vinyl stickers that peel off without damaging the walls. It helps because beige baby decor is just all there is these days

😭😭 Not sure this was the best video for me to watch on my crying day - the day after I just dropped of MY son at his new university adventure and set up his dorm room. 😂😉 His baby room was all brightly colored, pudgy airplanes. Now, his dorm room (by his choice) is all serious aviation, as that's his major. So, it was sort of a full circle moment for me, helping set up a 20 yo version of his same themed room. ✈️ It goes by too fast. Enjoy every moment and love that baby forever!!!
