Subhash Chandra Bose was very clear in his intentions - India's Independence. The way he choose was different. He alleged with enemies of Briton, got money and arms for his cause and tried his best to have an agreement with them not to cheat him and take over India after Briton and he only allowed Indian POWs and Indians to fight the war. He motivated the Indians in British army to revolt. Any body can disagree with his path, but his intention was clear and should accept him as he was. Using abusive words against Netaji or any one has no justification in any way

Bose DID not lay down his life for India. He did not die in a battle or was not hung to death like Bhagat Singh. Bose's legacy is unknown and hence it becomes VERY important to investigate his mysterious disappearance.

Japanese captured Andaman and Nicobar island and history. What Britishers could not do in 300 years they did just in 1-2 years. what kind of butchery and slaughter Japanese did was not cited by Justice Katju and he just cited what Japanese did in Shanghai, Manchuria and elsewhere. More importantly, Netaji visited Port Blair but still Japan continued their onslaught. Netaji hobnobbed with Germany and Japan etc., the ruthless and cruel people, who did all kind of cruelty, atrocities and excesses. Had it been not there, such a great Netaji should not have been dragged to this kind of debate. I honestly believe that Netaji Bose had gone to these Germans and Japanese not for bloodshed and for wrong reasons and he had gone for good reasons but except making some kind disapprovals could not leave or getting left by them. Mere quoting and citing some printed book authored by someone shall not be taken as proof by anyone. and such books are not evidence as vouched by anchor of the show. The history of Netaji especially from the moment of great escape from house arrest is controversial and obscure to much extant. Because there is no clarity and confirmation, everyone has his right of view on Netaji and it is unfortunate for one of the great sons of country. No one should be found fault for his views unless their comments are beyond their constitutional right of right of expression. If someone criticises, it should be taken to the stride instead of attacking them. All should demand for declassification of records in India, Japan, German and more importantly USSR.

After Japanese Surrender , Bose was planning to get Russian Help as Russia Army can come through Afghanistan for that Bose planted a false plane crash and fled to Russia . By the time Bose would have needed time to raise and bring army from Russia after thorough planning but by then Naval Mutiny happened in 1946 only 6 months after the plane crash .

Japanese Prime Minister Tojo called the meeting of all freedom fighters of Asia in 1943 in Tokyo. It was attended by Sukarno of Indonesia, Aung Sang of Burma, freedom fighters from Malay, Vietnam, Manchuria and SC Bose from India. None of them were stooges of Japan but they were all freedom fighters against British, French, Dutch, Portuguese who had colonized Asia.

The so called facts of a few British officials are just opinions, the fact is that the general consensus of the British historians about this particular subject doesn't regard this Japanese agent anywhere near in as high a regard as Indian historians might do. Why is he a hero? Because modern India needed some fighting guy, some iron man, a knight in a shining armour so to speak. Modern India needed a King Arthur to make itself proud. A semblance of reassurance that Indians can fight too.
