You're smarter to learn to play basketball. You'll learn more in basketball. This is very easy for people who play basketball. Average position from which to shot in netball is extremly easy for basketball players.

I play alot of basketball so these shots to me seem extremely extremely easy. Idk alot about netball but looking at it from a basketball perspective I'd be shooting floaters all day in that semi circle

One thing this video misses is the emphasis on being on the balls of your feet when you go to shoot - I see so many flat footed shooters. Not only are you more likely to get more consistent power in the shot at various distances but also be more ready to move in faster for rebounds etc.

Aaron You mean basketball or netball? Cuz, Netball is all about concentration and aim and you have to have good foot work, basketball is running and jumping so the ball goes all over the place it is also more competitive. Try play Netball often and see how it goes 👋🏻🤣🤦🏽‍♀️

@@emkaski5998 played school leauges of both... Netball is way easier than basketball... Being a GS on the Netball and a SG specifically a spot up for the hs basketball team... Netball has softer defence and more on passing.... But basketball has far more imposing post ups and physical play making the more difficult sport it is.

I will try this skills soon. I'm actually a sharp shooter last year, but this year I lost my confident a lot because I'm so stress for being a leader of my team and automatically my shooting skills lost a lot. I hope this kind of skills help me a lot in tomorrow tournament.

I have a match tomorrow (Friday 7 July 2016), so I've been looking for ways to improve my shooting - considering I'm the shooter... In fact, this is my first competition and third time playing netball - so I hope this will help - if it doesn't I wont blame anyone. I've been waiting for the day of my competition since June and I know I should have more confidence but mine is kind of low when it comes to working as a team. I have faith in my team - I'm not saying theres no chance in them, if anything theres no chance in me!
