The unsung tidbit of Netero's backstory is how he was already so exceptionally fit for a 40+ year old. The absolute shounen accomplishments and training he must have endured to reach a point where his actual midlife crisis was "Damn, where do I go with my training from here?" Dude must have summoned Shenron a dozen times, achieved Bankai, became the Kage of all five villages, and found the One Piece to be thinking like that at Grandfather age.

So many cool things in one episode!!!! ^^ The fact that Pitou's en can stretch at will is super cool, Netero and Zeno just diving from the sky nonchalantly and the fact that Pitou sensed Zeno first when its aura touched the dragon but went for Netero when its senses were sharpened to the extreme bc he was the greatest threat...so cool! Netero's "bad move little ant" and the constriction of time perception explanation from the narrator ...pure hype! Zeno is so funny when he talks about Netero he uses teenager words bc Netero in his eyes is a geezer even tho he's one himself he sounds like Killua 😂age is just a number right? Netero's nen the power of gratitude and love...such a bright, blinding aura can be so destructive... it's interesting Terpsichora kinda feel like Sharnalk's autopilot mode but with intact consciousness

I just can't understand, HxH dedicated this whole chapter to a slow narrative of the events, repeating several times the same thing through different perspectives and stopping the whole thing to show us flashbacks or anecdotes from different people a couple times. I can almost guaranteed you that if this happened in any other anime I would be on the verge to skip the whole thing... So why is this peak fiction in HxH? Why does it work so well in HxH? Did they actually mastered this stuff? Why isn't it used like this in other animes? I just don't understand how can this be so good.

It’s how well they utilize the narrator. Usually when shows try to do this very thing where they show the same event in different perspectives, they just show it. But how HxH narrates is masterful and breaks it down so everyone can understand it. It’s amazing

I will say that Netero can beat the Royal Guard, but the durability of their exoskeleton will force him to put in more effort since they're basically human-sized ants. But I could be mistaken about their durability though.

@@lilveltheplayer2164 yeah i agree and i think it's just the king durability that is on another level... for example his zero hand move would've killed any of the 3 Royale guards plus the king is smart and was able to read Neterou's pattern of attack so against the Royale guards he probably wouldn't need to use zero hand.

@@daviando no zero hand could not kill Youpi, remember Youpi walked within molton lava to save the burned body of the King? and Pouf can split into atom and regenerate so no. the nuclear radiation can kill them but Netero cannot.

@@eloquitodelaesquina That attack was only meant to throw her away, the reason why Meruem bleeds when Netero attacked him at first cuz he was not using Nen and I'm pretty sure Pitou would bleed more than the King if she doesn't use Nen cuz Meruem is obviously much more tougher. Pitou can't even react to Netero's attack and the only reason why Meruem managed to beat Netero cuz of the games he played with Komugi that made him to strategize and found a way to breakthrough Netero's endless moves which Pitou never learned. So I'm pretty confident Netero would win without a scratch even if they would fight for days cuz as we all know Netero didn't lose to Meruem cuz he ran out of nen but he got his limbs tear off resorting him to use Zero Hand.

No, that's not how it works. Nothing with mass can move faster than light. Wave your hand around really fast, and you'll also be unable to see all points of its movement, there will be "gaps" in your vision. That's not because your hand moves faster than light, it's because you cannot process images faster than a certain rate. Think of it like a camera recording at a limited frame rate - to a camera that records at 1 frame/sec, most moving objects would be "teleporting", but that's not because they are moving faster than light, it's because they are moving faster than the camera can record. It's the same idea with Netero "teleporting".
