Yeah, there are 2 at each side. Near Smasher and on the opposite side close to Mikoshi. Can make use of them all. They take out small guys that spawn as well.

I only play on normal, I'm a filthy casual and don't want challenge, I need to try this on hard tho... On normal diffoculty as a netrunner both Hansen and Smasher weren't even able to shoot at me because of constant combos of cripple movement, cyberware malfunction followed by short circuits

Had a playthrough on normal difficulty (first try) and it was definitely longer than any other boss fights i had before (like placide and hansen) but still wasn't that hard. definitely gonna play it on harder difficulty now.

This fight on very hard is nuts if you do the Don't fear the reaper ending. Your HP gets cut in half and you basically can't get hit from hit directly at all or you are toast. Awesome though if you pull it off.

I didn't use a cyberdeck, I had sandevistan and this mofo had a counter for that as well, used johnny's pistol, bayyako katana and rebeccas shotgun to finish him off. Was scary as hell lol

the biggest downside right now is how underworked his Sandevistan is. Needs a boost as his mobility is still slower than V’s.

To be fair he's likely to be very respectful of V's body and likely won't do anything bad. Lore wise nearly anything johnny could easily get his actual real appearance back quite easily via biosculpting or even a full conversion and have his thing even be functioning making babies and all. Cyberpunk medical tech is quite frankly insane likely millennia more advanced than ours.

just beat him yesterday at level 32, on very hard, with a net runner sniper but I got lucky and one of my cripple movements went off when he was phasing around and he got glitched into one of the floors up until 30% when he goes into the middle and starts lighting the place up like fireworks.

Cripple movement, synapse burnout x3 was my fav way to go First stuns him, so you can easily lay into him with guns, the rest did massive damage.

I played Netrunner as well on Very Hard. I've no idea what mystical mischief I've done in my build, but Adam's life dropped to around 56% immediately after the fight began. I used overclock and spammed the Cyberware Malfunction quickhack for max damage. Dude simply blew up and lost an arm. The ability to get critical hits with quickhacks is such a crazy game changer. I had Cool maxed as well, I think the multipliers for stealth applied if I began the sequence before he got fully alerted

probably looked like this right? kzbin.info/www/bejne/j4WlaKSnYrufhNE Basically, if you have 100% crit chance (which I don't, since I don't have Phantom Liberty) and queue Covert + Control + Damage + Control type of hacks in that order with Tetratronic Rippler, this is the result. On very hard mode too. Embedded Exploit says it makes you deal 60% more damage to enemies affected by control or covert hacks, but it doesn't say that if target is affected by both, it combines the value up to 120% bonus. Sonic Shock is bugged btw, it is still a control hack, not covert.

You get it done faster than I do with an overpowered blades build, not bad. I only can remove a big chunk of Smasher's HP every now and then with stealth bonus from optical camo and hitting weakpoints. Otherwise it's like 10 hits for 1% of his HP.

He got stronger but it s still easier to beat him than people believe. When firing his wrist gun you can actually circle around him and he can't track you fast enough and won't cancel that move. His punching is tricky to parry since he likes to delay his hits which is nice. Upon losing his arm he seems to mostly dash and position himself to fire.. His best move is the artilery strike that actually killed me up close with my 1.3k armor

Since you spend health in Overclock to hack, then kill enemies, which resets cooldown on Blood Pump. And Bio Monitor automatically heals you when necessary. I did pick a bunch of cyberware that gives mitigation strength and mitigation chance too for better survivability as well. Oh and another important moment: Embedded Exploit gives 60% damage bonus for each category, 120% total. So start with covert hack, add control hack, then damage hack, then add another control hack if you're using Rippler Deck. Because of bug Sonic Shock is still control hack despite description. So start with Ping or Memory Wipe, then add Cyberware Malfunction (makes target take more damage), then for example Synapse Burnout, and end with Cripple Movement.

Ba Xing Chong could probably rival Yinglong SMG to be honest, I just didn't feel like using it, since people will probably want to do it normally and BXC is available only after beating Adam once. But yah, Yinglong is very good SMG. Great synergy with netrunner builds too.

How do you do the mission solo?

Picking specific lines in dialogue at oil fields, then waiting for about 5 minutes when you decided which route to pick for the ending. Johnny suggests to go solo, you agree and that's the ending.

Back in "Chipping In" Mission when you go to Ebunike Docs with Rouge. Once you pick up Porche, and go with Johnny to Oil field you HAVE TO go with dialogue option of telling Johnny that he fucked up relationship with you as well, and then give him second chance. Then at last Mission once Misty takes you at Balcony, and goes away, instead of choosing any options you do staring Contest with Johnny for about 4-6 minutes and he suggested you just go alone. Unfortunately, that does mean that you have to go all the way back and all progress you made after is just gone unless you do it all over.

Yeah, they reworked some combat systems and perks, so if it's been a while, you might find a bunch of new stuff now. Quickhack queue is a perk in Hacking tree now.

It is a good strat. Since dots accumulate, plus shooting him adds bonus fire damage to bullet damage too.

Doesnt make sense to use overheat unless the game is bugged. When you scan him he is weak to electrical. He's all metal and flames wouldn't cause the same damage as to a human enemy. Short Circuit used to be what I used when I played as a Netrunner, long time ago that was. Cripple movement used to work well at the start (door area) so he cant shoot at V and stands still for the bullet ballet V sends or other weapons.

Using Monowire with the movement quickhack and spamming synapseburnout is better damagewise than fucking Short Circuit. And you really can fuck up a lot with that strat.

Welp, I played on hard difficulty as a netrunner and fight with smasher was the easiest fight of the whole game. Even Oda was harder then this piece of metal ( I had same stats when fighted Oda and smasher - 43 lvl ). All what I was doing is just spamming blackwall to his pawns and after it was transfering to him, dealing a damage and stun.

Wtf. When I'm trying to hack Smasher, he doesn't stand in the doorway and let me do it. He instantly fires up the Sandy and one-shots me befire I can even pick something from the list. And even with 6 stacks of cyberware malfunction, he can still teleport around and shoot rockets and everything.

still don't understand why smasher was able to use sandevistan, if you apply on him cyberware malfunction. sandy is used on gear -> disable gear -> still sandy seems like not all hacks work on this dude.

Cyberware Malfunction hack might have wrong description. I think you can disable Smasher's sandevistan, but you need to apply like 12 stacks of this hack on him. 4 stacks disable only 1 piece of his cyberware at a time. Or maybe it's a boss and they wanted to make him more powerful. It's either or. Haven't played in a while.

@@nuary120896 Because the maximum damage possible is overclock > any non combat hack (sonic shock for example) > synapse burnout > system collapse > system collapse. The more RAM you use, the more damage synapse burnout deals.

Modded Cyberpunk. There's wounds about relic mailfunctions (from 10 to 16 wounds that is unable to be healed) that is reduce your hitpoints to like half.

@@oninomirui dont see heart icon near health bar and i dont see you had reduced amount of hitpoints. For me - the auto-medkit implant triggers automatically because cannot heal V at all - i had 45%/100% hitpoints whole Smasher battle
