Andy is one of the best guitar pedal reviewers if not the best. He completely avoids those stupid blues solos most reviewers do

Sounds really thick,double tracked wow I think digital technology has finally become useable for guitar players, if u asked me yesterday, id have sworn an old analog Boss chorus from the 80s would crush this This sounds good though.
@rickc21027 жыл бұрын
Moog chorus still sounds best, but these are still cool.

High end digital FX have been as good or better than most analog effects for over 10 years but it comes in rack mounts that cost $5000+. We're just starting to see it show up in some affordable forms now.

Is this an updated version of the pedal? I have one, and it sounds great. Unfortunately I've had a real problem with unpleasant digital distortion that sounds like a ripped speaker. The pedal I have seems to have a pretty low max input signal which makes it hard to use after a pre-amp pedal for a stereo setup.

I need to hear this on bass like right now as well as the greenhouse sledgehammer so I can have my mini board ready
@johnp.hayden10996 жыл бұрын
Well, I bought this pedal because I had a cheapo digitech I bought here in China and thought I could use some INSPIRE goodness. I love the tones, but there is a serious volume sink when it is on, like 30% of my volume just disappears. So should I just use a boost to counter this or is there is a switch inside? Thanks, Andy. Hugs.
@PeterGuitarSound5 жыл бұрын
Yeah.... Just bought one. That volume drop is awfull. I keep the mix at max 50% to still lower that effect. But I will probably sell it cause of that. I've a Free the Tone Tri-Avatar also... a different world trust me.
@andrewjones_fitness2 жыл бұрын
@@PeterGuitarSound the free the tone is much better in your experience??
@PeterGuitarSound2 жыл бұрын
@@andrewjones_fitness There's no math. The FTT has no volume drop, the wet sounds bigger and it don't have the Neunaber/strymon digital sheen. But it doesn't do Detune + TriChorus

trey azagathooth I'd assume there's three delay lines in this pedal and only two in the Mr Black.
@Telorchid6 жыл бұрын
Possibly this as Robyn Guthrie favored a +/- 10 cents (Lexicon PCM I think) and detune might be generally close to that.

@MrSimondaniel36 жыл бұрын
+Taneli Lucis well hes not trolling, hes assuming it will sound bad in real life, high volume situations. Most guitar players would say digital chorus is not the best. This is usually true. only in the last few years theres finally digital modulation sounding good on guitar.
@tokenofdevotion6 жыл бұрын
Daniel Simon You're kinda on point. I own a Korg Toneworks ax1000g and its mod delay ( that can turn into chorus with tweaking) beats the hell out of, say, a zoom ms 70 cdr (pedal which I totally love and own). And can come pretty close to analog, but without the warmness. Guys complaining about warmness just need an eq for the low end and they'd be good to go. Analog has limits. Digital can go a lot more further
@alexmurphy52894 жыл бұрын
Dude most of the 80s incredible sounds you love are digital you guys are delusional
