Great video. Wilbers BBQ is one of my favorite places to eat. Glad I was able to be a small part of of trip and to be able to meet you. No rocks but lots of roots on this trail. The Neusiok Trail is 21.5 miles. When I started hiking the trail I tried to research it and found little to nothing about it so I developed a web site about the trail.

AND EARLY TOO EARLY I TELL YAZ!!! Thanks. Always love these. Glad you and your friends are well. It looked to be a Harrier Jump Jet following you guys along in the woods. Nice to have good air support just in case. Tick reports from the Ozarks this year are worse than usual and they are normally very bad. Bamboozle the ticks if you can. Thanks again and so good to see you guys together again. Hope the M/K faired well through another dormant season. He may not be angry, but instead just weary of people trying to bleed him each Spring to make syrup. Peace.

My previous comment vanished. This is my neighborhood!!! I'm very disappointed that I missed a chance to meet you. If you ever come back let me steer your towards Roland's BBQ in Beaufort NC. They have great BBQ pork, ribs, and fried chicken. The planes you saw were harriers, soon to be replaced by the new F-35. And yeah, they all buzz around at all hours of the night. It's the sound of freedom! Most folks on the trail hear more mosquitos than planes. They grow em big in that swamp. Glad you had a good time. How about giving us a heads up next time!?! I'll treat you to all you can eat at Roland's!!!

I want you to know, after years of watching your videos, I can't hear anyone say early without myself (hopefully in my head, but sometimes out loud) saying "EARLY?!?!". It gets some weird looks. Some of my friends know what I'm talking about. :) What's the origin of that anyway? I also can't watch water boil without going into Karl's voice (again, usually in my head but sometimes out loud and scaring my wife) going "Mmmhmmm. That's a purty boil". You're the best man. You're a decent way from the beach when you are in Goldsboro from my point of view. I admit growing up east of I-95 colors that opinion though, if you aren't less then 30 minutes you aren't that close. If you make it out towards Sylva, SW of Asheville, stop at Saizon in Cullowhee or Kosta's in Dillsboro and you won't be disappointed.
