okay- what you are about to watch is a true new york experience. what originally started out as a typical nyc subway ride turned into an awesome performance by two people who have never met before. i captured the whole thing on video.
the singer continued with another great song after the entire subway car demanded an encore. her name is jessica latshaw- make sure to check out her music! buy this song on itunes: itunes.apple.co...
props to the conga player as well. check out his stuff- Quoom1.

Hey, kind people! Feeling grateful for the love and super good vibes. Some of you were asking about the song: it's called "ain't my friend" and you can download (a free and rough copy of it) at noisetrade--just search under my name. This was a very cool random moment to be a part of; I love being in NYC with you all. peace.

there was like a good 8 years of just chill NYC subway from like 2012 to 2019 where crime in NYC was at historic lows. Post pandemic the subway is a mess and feels mad dangerous. i take that shit everyday and im always on edge.

Yes TBW I agree with you in 2023... So much has happened since this video was made and from where I'm standing things have certainly NOT improved... Also people's behavior has left a lot to be desired.. This beautiful video has a charm and delight about it, both of which have been lost in such a short period of time..😢❤

I was lucky to experience something very similar. A group of acapella singers walked into a car where a young electric guitar player had already set up. Before they saw each other, each started their performance. They quickly realized their mistake but rather than stopping or getting mad at each other for infringing on their "turf", the guitar player started playing back-up for the acapella group and literally didn't miss a beat. It was the best rendition of "my Girl" that I've ever heard.

This is absolutely the most purest form of music. The two that didn't even know eachother, came together to perform this great song. And it happens during "The everyday Grind", and what usually, some would say, to be the most dullest part of the day. The train commute home in the City. This is absolutely the upmost talent we see hear. God Bless these true Artists, and may they continue to make great music. This is so pure, and special, that I really could not justify the greatness of it
