NEVER bring a 1JZ powered NASCAR to a public drift event…

Well, we never expected the Toyota 1JZ powered NASCAR to actually work, but here we are! Last weekend we took our 2007 NASCAR with a Toyota Chaser JZX100 engine to a public drift day, to see if it would complete a lap of the Mondello Park circuit and you know what... IT DID!

OMG I cant believe our team made the video! When I came on board with Mark Brown 4 years ago this sort of thing would have seemed a distant dream!!! The team have been incredible to me over the years and I wouldn't have got into BDC without them. I am sooooo made up for Mark as I know what a big deal this will be to him. Thanks Drift Games for literally making a dream come true and for an epic weekend. For anyone thats not been to an invitational, I would say you neeeeed to get there. The atmosphere, staff, seat time was all amazing, cant wait to come back!!

Mark's a top guy, I took my Forester STI to his garage for rocker cover gaskets as he was very well respected in the local Subaru scene. I was chatting to him about his drifting and as it was the end of the day he took me to his drift garage a short drive away to check out the drift cars probably spent the best part of an hour looking at them and chatting. This was back when he had a BMW powered Newage Impreza.

Savage savage weekend. I get that you need to focus on your own cars I guess but man the level of driving this weekend was crazy. There was some mad trains out the back track which I wish were captured. The front track is fast and fun but the back track is where the door to door action happened lap after lap. It was unbelievable. Probably one of the best practice weekends anywhere in the world right now between the track and the drivers. We love it

Probably get some shorter axle snouts/axles for the quick change rear end, might make it be able to slide a little more. That rear end is pretty similar to winters ran in the drift cars, it probably wouldn't be hard to swap one over. They just have hard straight splined axles that chill in the axle snouts/tubes instead cv axles.
